Daniel hugged the wall and slid into a narrow gap, just wide enough to hide his body in shadow. There was another gap on the opposite side as well.
The two goblins crossed past Daniel without noticing him.
"Status," he whispered, calm and steady.

’Hmm... trickery it says,’ he thought, his eyes scanning them.
The two goblins wore torn brown cloth with hoods that kept their monkey like ears from sticking out. Both were slightly different from the one he had killed earlier. One carried a dagger in its right hand, while the other held a torch, a knife strapped to its waist.
Daniel waited patiently for them to return.
...
A few monts later, they ca walking toward him.
Once they passed him by a little, Daniel threw a coin into the dark gap ahead.
*tink-ting-ting-tink*
"Gei! ge gek"
"Gee gek ge!"
They both stopped in their tracks when they heard the sound. Slowly, they approached the gap. The one carrying the torch moved to the front, while the other stayed behind.
Daniel crept up behind it and drove his dagger deep into its skull.
*THUNK!*
"Geeee!!"
The torch-carrying goblin staggered and turned, but before it could react, Daniel kicked its back hard like a Muay Thai warrior, sending it crashing into the corner of the wall.
*Bang!*
"Gee..." it scread in pain.
He yanked his dagger from the goblin’s skull and lunged at the other, piercing its body.
"Gee!!"
The torch hissed out in the goblin’s blood. Daniel stood slowly and picked up the coin and the other dagger.
"Haah... two daggers is better than one," he murmured, moving on.
As he moved forward, he stumbled upon a gate-like structure—tall and doorless, yet a thick veil of mist barred the way.
The white fog swirled across the stone floor, and the air felt heavy, as if sothing watched from beyond.
Daniel extended his fingers to the misty cloud, it was cold like winter air against skin.
He swallowed hard.
*Glug*
’My gut feeling is telling that I’ve reached the boss room. ans I can leave this place or—’ he murmured, gripping his dagger tight.
Daniel froze for a mont, then exhaled deeply and stepped inside. ’We’ll see what happens’.
When the white fog cleared from his eyes, he saw a vast space, like a stone cavern. Large, glowing white gemstones were scattered among the rocks, casting a solid, full-moon–like light.
In the far corner stood a heavy door, silent and unmoving. The air was thick with stillness.
The mont he stepped toward the center, the ground shook like a mini earthquake. Glowing gemstones tumbled, clattering alongside rocks into the corners.
*BANG! BANG! BANG!*
The heavy door thudded and rattled, slamd over and over as if so massive creature were battering it with its shoulder.
*BANG! BANG! DHAAM!!*
The door burst open.
"RRRAAA!!!"
A creature thrice his size burst in. A rusty tal helt covered its entire face, and a leather vest shielded its torso. Torn brown cloth hung from its waist, and it gripped a massive hamr with both hands.
Its eyes glowed red beneath the helt, and heavy chains coiled around its wrists.
"Staus! Ah, I an status!" he shouted.

Mana: 2000/2000
Description: A creature known for its brute strength, charging like a bull and smashing anything in its path. Its rage grows every minute, increasing its attack power by 0.1%.
——————
"Shit! Shit! What on earth is—"
"RRRAAA!!!"
Daniel didn’t even get a chance to think before the creature charged. It hoisted its hamr on its shoulder swinging it down in a deadly vertical strike as it barreled toward him.
*BOOM*
He dodged the blow and quickly aid for its legs, unprotected by any leather or tal, while the creature struggled to lift its hamr.
*Stab-Slash!*
Daniel slashed at the creature’s calf and followed through with the montum, but it didn’t even flinch. It lifted its hamr as if nothing had happened.
Blood trickled from its calf as it surged forward once more, hamr swinging in a deadly vertical arc.
*BOOM!*
"Tch! Again!" he whispered, narrowly dodging the strike.
*Stab-Slash*
Daniel delivered another strike to its knee, yet the creature barely flinched, treating it like a trivial wound.
"RRRAAA!!"
Daniel’s eyes widened as the creature charged again—but this ti, the hamr was dragged along the ground, swinging in a horizontal arc.
*Swoosh~ Swoosh~ Swoosh~*
It didn’t swing once or twice, but three tis in quick succession. The last strike nearly caught Daniel, forcing him to dive to the ground with every ounce of strength he had left.
*Thud!*
"Oomph... agh, fuck that almost ended my life—"
"RRRAAA!!"
The creature jumped, hamr raised high, its eyes burning red. Its dark-skinned figure blended with the stone, making it look like a shadow born from the cavern itself.
*BOOM!*
Daniel rolled instinctively, pushing off with his legs. The creature huffed as it lifted its hamr. Seeing an opening, Daniel sprang to his feet to strike—but his dagger was no longer in his hand.
’Huh! Where’s my dagger?!!’ he scread in his mind, glancing around wildly.
But the creature soon regained its strength and lifted its hamr—revealing Daniel’s dagger, split clean in half.
"RRRAAA!!!"
Daniel’s eyes widened, his hope of survival fading.
’Is this... my end? Is this how I die? Can I even defeat this monster without a weapon? I broke my weapon...’ he thought, dogging another vertical strike.
*BOOM*
’What’s the point, eventually I’m going to get caught. My breathing is getting heavier haah... This monster is swinging faster than—"
*BOOM!*
*WHAM!*
*BANG!*
"Ugh—!" Daniel grunted as he crashed into the wall.
The creature brought its hamr down in a vertical slam, but instead of raising it for another strike, it kicked him away with the very leg he had stabbed, sending him flying.
A trail of blood ran from his head, sliding over the skin above his right eye. He was losing consciousness, his vision fading.
"RRRAAA!"
