"I didn't have a Gate of Magic or Aura. But I was able to beco powerful by dabbling in forbidden sorcery and stealing it from others. It took a decade, but I beca stronger than the people that treated like a dog."
"That day, I killed all of them using a single technique. I didn't have the aptitude for learning spells. So I focused on mastering a single one. I practiced it thousands of tis every day. I practiced it so many tis that I beca faster than Grandmasters. With it, I defeated the knights and mages of my stepmother, annihilated my entire clan, and succeeded in taking revenge and avenging my mother!" Odon said.
"Why are you telling all this? I am not interested in your sob story." Damien said, "There are countless people like you. But they aren't as evil as you. So many people have suffered, but 3 out of 4 of them try to make this world a better place. And you only muddied it further. You are honestly a disgrace."
Odon scoffed, "Don't misunderstand . I didn't tell you my past so that I could gain your sympathy. I told it to you because I want you to die knowing what killed you."
Odon used a sosphicated and advanced thod that made use of both legs and swords to inflict damage to the opponent.
His movents were simple but unbelievably fast, but combined together, they locked down a person and were impossible to dodge.
They left behind a trace of forbidden mana as they ca down on Damien from all sides.
"This is... nothing special." Damien coated every inch of his body with divine power, and suddenly it seed like he was wearing ancient armor. It bounced off Odon's attacks. "See. It couldn't even create a dent in my Divine Power Armor."
Odon said, "When there is a will, there is a way. The ocean is vast, and it is quite dark. I don't know how long I will have to row. But I won't stop until I reach the other shore."
This was another way of saying that he won't stop attacking until he destroyed the armor and demolished him.
"Oh, you definitely will." Damien retorted.
"What a sosphicated thod of forcing an enemy to a dead end." Eldwin saw countless figures that resembled Odon attacking Damien and was shocked.
"I don't think it's sothing that can be dodged."
"It's good that he is holding on."
"I don't think I would survive a single second against Odon. Yet, he is holding him back for us."
"Should we try to help him?"
"That would be a foolish mistake."
The noble guards wanted to help Damien, but Eldwin stopped them.
anwhile, Damien was fearlessly confronting an undead that was 15 tis his senior. At first, he was barely able to block Odon's flurry of kicks and sword slashes. He couldn't even dodge them. But suddenly, he sped up. He beca fast enough to dodge them, and that shocked Odon.
"How did your speed almost double?" Odon uttered in shock.
Damien exposed a smile on his face and said, "You don't know, do you? Divine power can be used to enhance the body."
He infused the remaining amount of his divine power with his body, instantly gaining a significant boost in his physical capabilities. Since he needed it to stay alive, this was the sa as cutting off his lifeline, but at least this way, he would be able to kill all the crimson mages and die without worry.
"This is for ."
He dodged all of Odon's attacks and counterattacked, hitting him with a flurry of empowered punches. He wasn't able to react fast enough to dodge them. He was being attacked so quickly that he could only stay in defense mode, blocking them. But his bones shattered under Damien's punches, and he went straight for his life source. As an undead, it ant everything to him, so Odon condensed all of his forbidden black mana around it. It was shielded by what seed like an impenetrable barrier. But Damien punched it with all his might, and it crumbled apart like a mountain.
Odon's life source was the next thing he destroyed.
The leader of the crimson mages was dead.
Only his minions were left alive.
Damien glanced at them, and they stumbled back. The murderous look on his tender and young face terrified the old monsters.
"What are you waiting for? Attack him, or none of us will survive." Soone commanded.
The crimson mages flew towards Damien. It was unknown when he started seeing them, but there were green and blue dots in his vision. They filled the space between the sky and the land. They were everywhere around him, and when he mixed them, two blue dots with one green, a trace of water was created. But as they say, it takes an accumulation of countless drops of water to create an ocean. Moved by his will, countless blue dots rged with the green ones. The ratio was 2:1, respectively.
An entire riven ford above his head. It was like a sparkling blue gem and ridiculously dense.
At the sight of such a monstrosity, the face of the crimson mages paled, and they stopped one after another in mid-air, not daring to approach him.
They were dazed out of their mind. Damien took advantage of this and lightly stepped on the air. He left behind afterimages as he flashed up to one undead after another, slapping them here and there. It was more like he was tapping them. It was such a simple action, but it was why they were becoming blocks of ice.
The crimson mages felt their life sources freezing up only when Damien returned to his original place and clasped his hands behind his back.
"Say your prayers," Damien said, and one tide after another burst out of the huge river and crashed on them, smashing them and demolishing their life sources.
Many sets of bones and crimson robes fell on the ground.
