“So, my guess was right,” Roy said.
“What is the grade of this physique?” Roy asked after a mont.
The system’s words rang in Roy’s mind.
『Lord grade!』
Because of what he heard, his eyes widened in shock.
Imdiately, he transford into his ghost form and ventured deeper into the long-winded corridor.
He encountered many Armored Spirit Archers en route. He assassinated them, sealing their fates without giving them a chance to resist. After killing them rcilessly, he stowed their corpses in his subspace. He obtained several dragon essences and skill shards from their corpses.
Because he had all sorts of techniques in his arsenal, so that countered the spirits hard, he was able to sweep through them quite effortlessly; in fact, assassinating them beca as easy as breathing to him after he took down his 20th victim.
Roy obtained countless True Dragon’s fire essence from them, but instead of using them to temper his physique to the sky grade, he put them all aside for his quest. A sky-grade physique can’t be compared to a Lord Grade physique.

“Finally, I can use Force!” Roy tightened his hands into a fist, feeling strength surging in his arms and throughout his body.
No less than 50 lost their lives in his hands before he ca across a few dozen Armored Spirit Archers. They failed to notice a ghost like him, just like their counterparts. He slid beneath the carpet and moved behind them, slowly and steadily. That’s the only problem with this form. It was slower than the other two. A long-winded minute later, he reached where he wanted to be.
Suddenly, he heard them speak.
“Bad news. I can’t connect with the other groups of the solo rangers. We are the only ones left. Facts speak that they are… all dead.” The rank-3 spirit warrior looked at the others in dismay.
Every single spirit was like a family to him. Finding out that they had died, his soul ached, and he felt pained. He wasn’t supposed to have these emotions. He was a weapon of war, created for only one purpose, to test the strength of the pure-blooded. Guide those who pass to the next trial and send away those who fail. But thanks to Voss, he experienced what it ant to be human, and thus, he has forsaken its creators and abandoned the reason why he was created and beca loyal to Voss.
Since Voss desired the death of the descendant of its forr master, he didn’t hesitate to hunt down the pure-blooded Baldwins that ca to this land 300 years ago. He hunted them down to the very last man. They weren’t as strong as the pure-blooded Baldwins that entered this land 30 years ago and the hybrid which appeared here seven years ago. They were the only ones he failed to kill. They were Badulf, Arlo, and Damien.
“There were a hundred of us this morning. How can our number dwindle down to a re 20 in a single day?!!!” The eyes of the spirits glowed a deep red.
Angry, afraid, and pained at the loss of loved ones. That’s what they were feeling right now.
