Roy sighed. He didn’t have any skill points. He has used the last four to learn the magic circle drawing skill and comprehend the mana thread magic.
‘Who should I bless first?’
Roy thought as his gaze swept past the twins and Julian and stopped on his two maids.
‘It has to be them.’
Roy pointed at Delilah and Alia, the desire to bless them vividly in his eyes as he said.
“Alia, Delilah, I choose you!”
Delilah: “…” ‘Do I look like a Pokemon to you?’ She would have probably thought that if she was from the modern world.
Alia blinked her long eyelashes at Roy in confusion.
Roy looked at them in silence.
He decided to bless the beautiful and cute maids with crimson eyes and black hair before the others. He had his reasons for choosing them first.
Delilah was the second strongest mber of his party, excluding Arlo. She would make good use of the soul-refining seal and the experience points transferring array.
Alia was fiercely loyal to him, so the chances of her betraying him or refusing to follow his orders were nonexistent, and hence helping her grow stronger would net him another formidable expert that would stand by his side and face Chaos and its minions, the chaotic beings.
Not to ntion, she had stayed by his side for many years and served him with all her heart.
She deserved to be blessed by him.
“Co here.”
Roy broke his silence, beckoning the two maids over, and they walked up to him.
He placed his hand on Alia’s head, patting her, playing with her hair. Although she was confused by his actions, she entrusted herself to him, letting him do whatever he wanted to do to her.
Her face turned as red as it could as he rubbed her ears and gazed into her eyes lovingly.
This was his way of expressing that he would accept her love for him even though she was his slave on the paper.
Others noble would mind loving back or marrying their slaves, but not him.
Alia broke eye contact with him as she lowered her head. His intense gaze was too much for her to handle.
‘He loves ?! No, that can’t be. I must have interpreted the way he is treating wrongly.’
Alia refused to believe what she was seeing.
‘Unless I prove myself so useful to him that he can’t afford to give up, I won’t confess to him, and the only way to do that is to awaken a top-notch class.’
She enjoyed his touch with closed eyes.
The system’s notifications rang in his ears a minute later.

“Okay, go to a room with clean air and rest there. You three should also take this chance to rest. Who knows when we will have to set out again.”
Roy patted Alia’s shoulder and then glanced at the two boys and Maya, telling them all that it was bedti.
Alia gave him a nod and stepped out of the room. Julian and the twins followed after her.
The sun was in the sky, but they were in the mood to sleep as they had been awake for many hours now and feeling exhausted.
They entered a guestroom different than Roy’s and laid down on different beds.
Closing their eyes, they tried to fall asleep but heard soone snoring loudly.
They looked around and realized that Julian had fallen asleep already. What an airhead!

Back in the room where Roy and Delilah were, an unpleasant sll was in the air.
Its source was the vat, more specifically, the murky, black water inside it.
Roy stored it in his subspace.
He planned to use it later.
The curtains were pulled to the side, and the windows were opened up.
Sunlight shone in the room through the window, illuminating it.
“What did you choose for?” Delilah asked Roy.
Sunstruck, her crimson eyes shone more brightly than usual.
They were like a pair of enchanting rubies.
One look at them, and you would feel hooked.
Roy didn’t know when he started looking into her eyes like a dumbstruck fool, but he couldn’t break eye contact with her.
“I choose you as my playmate.” Roy innocently smiled at her as he not-so-innocently lifted up her fair and tender chin and rubbed her plump, kissable lips with his thumb.
He forgot about blessing her. He knew that he had an hour or maybe even less of free ti left; the only thought remaining in his mind was to fool around with her and use this god-given chance to get what she had promised to him back on the road to the icy, cold realm.
“Play? If this is how you want to play with , I am not interested.” Delilah said coldly, but it would have sounded more convincing if her face and neck weren’t flushed red like her slightly pointy ears.
“What if I changed your mind?”
