A genuine smile appeared on Shawn’s face as he said.

"You’re right! Not many bother to learn all that nowadays and dumbly ask scamrs to scam them. Anyway, since you have impressed , I’ll give you a 70% offer."

This ti it was Max’s turn to be surprised as he didn’t expect to get the 70% offer. Although it was possible to get it, only powerful hunters received that exchange offer, not holess guys like him.

’That impressed him? Should I tell him more plot? Maybe he’ll give more percentage,’ Max blinked in surprise and suppressed his thoughts.

"Thanks a lot, Old Shawn. I will co here again whenever I hunt more Monsters," Max promised him from the bottom of his heart.

Shawn snorted at him and said, "Judging by your condition, you don’t even have a CID, do you?"

"I don’t, but I do plan to buy one later," Max said. Buying a CID was one of his top goals for the day.

Shawn stared at him for a mont and pushed fifteen notes of 100 Sel and five notes of 10 Sel, and said, "I’ll add so extra for that Level 8 Mana Shard. Co again when you have more business, otherwise, stay away from my cubicle for the rest of your life."

Ignoring the old man’s rambling, Max took the notes and began to count them. They were his first earnings in this new world after all.

He flashed a smile at Shawn, stood up, and said in excitent, "Thanks a lot, Old man. I’ll bring you more business, so don’t worry."

Saying that, he shoved the notes in his pocket and walked away. Though, he heard so murmurs behind him.

"At least get so proper clothes, kid."

Max smiled lightly, finally understanding why Shawn’s cubicle was empty. That old man liked to test hunters by scamming them and didn’t even have the proper attitude of a businessman.

Many hunters were probably already scamd by him and alerted others.

’Whatever! It’s better for ,’ Max thought, ignoring the pitiful gazes of others in the hall.

He walked out of the shop and began to think of his next course of action. It was then he heard a growl from his belly, reminding him of his body’s needs.

’Hmm, those rich restaurants will probably judge my appearance and I’m also not in the mood of eting another young master,’ Max thought and walked down on the Main Street.

He did find a few restaurants, but they were all lavish and ant for rich hunters. For people like him, there were many street vendors and shops.

Max didn’t ponder over his choice for long and simply entered a small shop selling noodles. It was a small shop, so they didn’t really care about his appearance.

He did receive so side eyes from other custors, but he ignored them and had two full bowls of chicken-flavoured noodles. It reminded him of his past, so he ate them with even more enthusiasm.

After paying for the al, he took his leave and began to think of his next move. He had a lot of things to do and even though he was exhausted from his diving, he was also excited to explore his new life.

This was the world he had made and loved so much, so his heart just wanted more and more.

[Your smile is making happy too. It’s like I’ve accomplished sothing by giving you a second life, hehe. It feels good!]

’It’s a dream co true for many people, Big Sis. So many people would die to get what I have,’ Max said, as he decided on his next move.

[I guess, you’re right.]

Max’s next destination was a high-end salon. Once inside, the barber did his job brilliantly, by cutting and washing his hair in a stylish manner.

He also washed his face and gave a satisfying massage... making him wonder if barbers were supposed to give massages too. At least, he didn’t get one back on Earth.

By the ti he was done, Max was a completely different person. He wasn’t the most handso guy there, but was certainly above average.

After being done with that, Max headed towards the clothing section. He had more than enough money to live for a few months, and buying good clothes was a necessity.

He had asked the barber for any recomndations, and the master of hair cutting had happily given him a few addresses.

Finally reaching his destination, Max entered the three-story building as a young woman quickly ca towards him and bowed lightly.

"Welco to our humble store, Sir. What would you like to see?"

’This world really has turned into a real world. People actually have professionalism here,’ Max thought and replied, "I’m looking for a few pairs of casual shirts and pants."

"I see. Please, follow ," the young woman wearing a red uniform gestured towards the upstairs.

So people gave him odd looks, but didn’t say anything and kept doing their work, which suited Max a lot.

The staff lady led him to the young male section and began to show a lot of varieties for him.

Max tried so of them and quickly chose his pick. He wasn’t that picky on clothes, so he just chose a pair of button-up blue shirt and black pants.

Looking at himself in the mirror, Max smiled and thought, ’Now, this is better. I should look for so stylish ones later on.’

He turned around and told the staff lady, "I’ll take this and also the ones I’ve tried so far."

"Understood! Anything else, Sir?" she nodded and asked.

"I do need so shoes..." Max muttered.

"We have those too!"

In the end, Max spent a total of 200 Sel on his clothes and shoes. But he considered it a necessary purchase. If he didn’t spend money on himself, then why was he earning anyway?

Looking at the bags before him, Max sighed and thought, ’I need to deal with these Gold coins first. Well, I’ll drop these in an inn first.’
