The shifts went pretty well and Max also had his share of sleep. He really needed it after so much fighting. The only good thing was that his body was brimming with strength after leveling up.
What he woke up to was Stelle's screams near his ears, which he conveniently ignored as he looked around.
It was the sa old cave, with no change whatsoever. He didn't even feel like six hours had passed. Still, this was the Labyrinth which worked completely different from the outside world.
"Morning, ladies," Max said, as he sat up while rubbing his eyes. "So, can I get so breakfast?"
"I already prepared it," Charlotte said, as she handed him a water bottle. "Here, get your mind fresh first."
Then, the three of them had a nice breakfast and began to discuss what they were going to do next.
"After today's turn, the entrance to the Blood Castle will open and whoever gets the first kill of the Black Knight will get its skill," Max said. "But our target isn't that, so whatever happens there has nothing to do with us."
"Then, where is the Main Hidden Boss?" Stelle asked.
"In the Blood Castle itself," Max smiled. "We will need to unearth so skeletons for that. Anyway, we can do that while others are busy. But we will have to hurry up because others will search the castle for rewards after defeating the Boss."
"Can't we just wait till that Hidden Boss kills them all and we reap benefits?" Stelle asked, not caring one bit about those people, especially Brown Shamal.
"Unfortunately, no. Once the Hidden Boss manifests, it won't let us find its weakness," Max said. "Anyways, we should take it easy today and not exhaust ourselves. We need every bit of strength to kill it."
"Let's take off then," Stelle jumped to her feet, having a wide grin on her face and brimming with energy.
"Sure!"
Charlotte quickly packed their stuff and, together, the three of them left their small cave to find more monsters to hunt.
However, it seed luck wasn't on their side as they found a group of teenage girls walking towards them. They had a fierce look on their faces and wore little clothes that showcased their athletic build.
'Wow! I didn't think I would even et Amazonian won so early,' Max thought, while also contemplating if he should run away.
"What do we do? They're probably here for the map," Stelle asked.
"We don't have anything to worry about since we don't have the map. Besides, we can use this opportunity so that Brown doesn't get all the benefits," Charlotte smiled sweetly and turned towards Max. "I hope you can use your acting skills well."
Max instantly understood what she had planned and couldn't help but smile. He thought, impressed, 'She ca up with it in an instant. No wonder she can lead her Clan till now.'
The group of Amazonian won stopped before them, as a tall woman with tanned skin and brown braided hair ca forward.
She looked at them up and down and then asked, "Do you have a map?"
"You an the fragnt of the map that everyone is searching for?" Max asked in surprise, before his face turned full of remorse. "Please don't remind us of that."
The tanned beauty raised an eyebrow and said, "We do not detect any map on you, but it seems like you know about it. Care to tell us?"
"We did find the map, but a group of nasty n snatched it from us," Max said, clenching his fist, his tone barely suppressing the fury within. "They also tried to take my friends away upon seeing their beauty, and we couldn't even defend ourselves because we're so weak. Fortunately, we ran away using so distraction."
Hearing his words, all of the won in their group frowned, as they wondered if Max was telling the truth. However, looking at his expression and also the beauty of the two ladies with him, they didn't doubt it.
Max also suppressed the urge to smile, as he knew he had their support now. Amazonian won were all terrifying warriors who hated lecherous n a lot, because their tribe almost went extinct once due to soone's lust.
Not to ntion, people still kidnapped them for their beauty and sold them as slaves. So, Max's story would surely touch their hearts.
"Tsk! Why do these n even exist?" the woman clicked her tongue and said, looking at the two ladies. "Don't worry! With us here, nobody can even touch you. As for you..."
Her gaze landed on Max and his shaful face, and her voice, filled with pride, sounded, "You're one of the few good n who actually respects won, so you have my respect. You can follow our group and if we find those people, we will take revenge for you."
"Actually, I can help you with that," Max sighed and said. "Before giving the map to them, I had already morized the map so I can lead you to that secret realm."
"Do you truly rember it well?" the woman asked in surprise.
"Yes, I can bet my life on it," Max bowed. "If I can't lead you there, then you can take my head."
"We don't kill honorable n, so there is no need for that," their leader smiled and said. "My na is Athena and this is my cohort. You're welco to travel with us and guide us."
"It will be my honor," Max bowed. "However, the entrance will open in the next turn. I'll take you there so we can wait there if you want."
"We will do that then. I need that kill no matter what," Athena said.
"Alright. For starters, we just need to follow this cave down the line for so ti, and I'll tell you when we have to turn," Max said, pointing at the downhill of the floor.
"Very well! You can join us in the back and my warriors will defend you from everything," Athena said with a nod.
"There's no need for that, my lady. We also need to get stronger, so we will travel alongside you while hunting so weak monsters," Charlotte said, stepping forward. "We don't want to be protected by others all the ti."
'Nice one, Char,' Max thought as he wanted to give her a big thumbs up, but held back.
