The Alchemist called out with a roar, his eyes bloodshot.
"Why can't I kill you?"
Lu Zhen just chuckled in amusent and then used the power of the lightning, combined with his ntal Power, straight at him.
Suddenly, a barrier erupted out from the Alchemist and protected him from the lightning.
A hazy fog spread everywhere, to the point that even the lightning from the sky seed to be scared of it and didn't even dare to approach here.
"What is this?" Lu Zhen felt a terrifying pressure descend on him, his pupils narrowed in horror.
Everything was covered by fog, but Lu Zhen could see it—a faint figure in front of him!

His heart rang like a drum, and a sense of oppression invaded the surroundings.
Lu Zhen just stood there in a daze as a majestic old man with greyed hair appeared in front of him.
He wore a golden crown and a yellow imperial robe, filled with dragons intricately woven into the fabric.

Lu Zhen touched his face; it felt like every cell in his body was screaming at him to escape. The instinct of death completely overtook him, and he just stood there in a daze for a mont.
"Junior, why are you trying to kill our Alchemist?"
The old man spoke in a majestic voice and a kind smile, despite his royal deanor.
Lu Zhen joined his hands together and bowed respectfully; he wasn't one who didn't respect power:
"I want to kill this Alchemist because I want to."
He straightened and spoke with an expressionless face.
"What if I want to protect him?" the old man raised an eyebrow.
"Then I must fight you as well," Lu Zhen spoke without fear, his gaze fierce and determined as if nothing could affect him.
The person in front of him might be the only Separation and Union Martial Artist in the world, but he could feel it—this old man felt like an illusion instead of a real one. This was what his ntal Power could tell.
Another na for ntal Power is the sixth sense, after all!
"Haha."
The old man started to laugh after a pause.
"Lord Lin, this junior doesn't know how to court death; please teach him the way." The Alchemist appeared behind him, his eyes glazed, with pure hatred shimring in his eyes as he looked at Lu Zhen.
"Hmm," the old man paused, "Alchemist, I only helped you because you promised to give that pill. My only job is your protection and nothing else."
The Alchemist frowned but couldn't dare to disobey and only bowed his head.
Lu Zhen looked at this with a calm expression.
"Lord Lin? Are you the only Separation and Union Martial Artist among the entire human race?"
"You have eyes."
Lin Yazhou nodded his head. "I have been defending the entire human race for decades now."
"Then shouldn't you be guarding there?" Lu Zhen asked, still with a completely calm expression and nonchalant deanour.
"Hmm." Lin Yazhou narrowed his eyes while looking at Lu Zhen.
"You already know the truth; why act stupid?"
Lu Zhen's expressionless face spoke:
"Senior is overestimating this junior."
"Haha, why hide it from when you can't hide it!" Lin Yazhou laughed while tilting his head towards the sky, the thunder in the sky sending bolts after bolts suddenly stopped.
"Do you know the power of Separation and Unity Martial Artist?"
He pointed his hand towards the sky and tightened his fist.
Swish!
The sky gradually cleared of the clouds, revealing the sun almost in an instantaneous way.
Lu Zhen felt his connection to the light disappear from the world.
