Lu Zhen's lips trembled as he looked at the blue panel, speechless.

He sensed the mutation energy, only a fraction of it left, and gritted his teeth.

"Sigh, when will I get it?"

Lu Zhen could only grit his teeth and continue to work. He was too far into it to give up; if sothing went wrong, he could find another solution.

As he slowly started to ditate, with the miniscule amount of ntal Power left, he reluctantly pulled so strands of it, intertwining it into a rope. Then he slowly combined it with his aura in an extrely intricate and arduous process.

At this ti, Lu Zhen was extrely focused, every distraction from his mind had disappeared and nothing seed to faze him anymore. His mind intended to combine the miniscule Aura with his Mutation Energy.

At this ti, a red panel appeared in front of him. Lu Zhen's pupils almost instinctively darted towards it.

Bang!

An explosion happened as the two illusionary energies exploded at the sa ti.

Lu Zhen fell to the ground, vomiting a mouthful of blood, he imdiately sat crossed legged and quickly recovered.

In just a minute, he had almost recovered from the injury and was completely fine.

"Damn it, if it's only a level-up prompt, I'm gonna kill your system."

When Lu Zhen looked at the prompt in front of him, his pupils almost froze on the spot.

[You have gained the skill: Heart of Cheapskate]

"Wtf!?"

Lu Zhen's eyes widened as he stared at the blue panel, his initial bitterness replaced by a strange expression.

"Even though the skill might seem simple, it should have so strength to it, right?"

Thinking this, Lu Zhen imdiately went to work. His eyes scanned the skill.

Before he could even see it, his vision blurred.

A terrifying palpitation overtook him as his heart seed to vibrate at an increasingly terrifying rate.

Then Lu Zhen violently coughed up blood, almost endlessly, with his skin becoming paler by the second.

"My heart exploded..." his lips trembled. This was where the circle he imprinted should be—if that was gone, all his progress in wizardry would be lost with it.

As Lu Zhen checked, he heaved a sigh of relief because the circle was still there. As for how he was alive, after reaching First-stage Martial Artist in body, Lu Zhen's body had rapidly changed, gaining insane vitality.

It wasn't a joke; he had the ability to survive even if his head was severed. The only problem would be that he would need to reattach the head for regeneration. This was possible because of his Regeneration skill as well as his body cultivation.

After recovering for a bit, a piece of flesh slowly grew in place, gradually enlarging into a heart.

"Hmm?" Lu Zhen looked at the skill again with his Appraisal Eyes.

[Heart of Cheapskate (Level 1)

Lu Zhen looked at the panel strangely.

"I guess if it works, it works." This was one of the sayings from his past life as a programr: if it was working, then don't touch it.

He sensed the miniscule amount of ntal Power and directly calculated every second in his heart.

Lu Zhen patiently waited for about ten minutes before he suddenly noticed a slight increase in his ntal power.

"It has increased by a strand." He was imdiately excited.

Although his reserve of ntal power was only about fifty strands, likely enough for only two knots and combining with Aura, he now had this skill.

It didn't matter even if he could combine ntal Power with Aura or not; all he needed to do was wait for so ti and gain more ntal Power in the process.

This was a passive skill, so Lu Zhen didn't have to do anything for it to increase his ntal Power. Although it was slow, it would definitely accumulate in no ti.

In an hour, he could have six strands of ntal Power; then in a day, he could have 144 strands of ntal Power, which was pretty insane.

This is a thing that will accumulate and gradually increase over ti.

Thinking of this, Lu Zhen continued to weave his ntal Power and combine it with his Aura.

This ti the process was entirely the sa, but Lu Zhen's heart was completely calm and normal. His mind was so focused that it felt like his very purpose of being born was to combine this ntal Power with Aura.

"Success." Lu Zhen's eyes lit up as he slowly cald. His chest heaved and constricted in a rhythmic sequence, and he slowly stood up from the spot with a calm expression.

In front of his eyes, there was a thin line of illusionary strands of thread.

Then Lu Zhen took out his black-edged demonic sword and tied this thin string to the handle of the sword. As he willed it, the sword levitated in the air, defying gravity itself.

"Not bad." Lu Zhen nodded his head with a smile on his face, then he slowly walked out of the carriage with the sword returning to his waist.

At this ti, both Jui Luli and the Assassin were pretty exhausted. They were still fighting, but there was panting and their movents had slowed down to a minimum.

"I guess I should help her." Lu Zhen casually raised his hand, and the black-edged sword imdiately floated in the air, reaching high in the sky.

The demonic Qi in his body was being rapidly drained and consud by the sword as it emitted a terrifying presence.

This was his Demonic sword, combined with Thousand-jin steel, making it several tons heavier.

What would happen when such a heavy object gains montum?

With his hand sliding downward, the entire air distorted with the sword burning as it landed.

Boom!
