The next morning in the dungeon was unusually quiet.
After the brutal battles of the previous day, the calm felt almost suspicious.
Tatsuro slowly opened his eyes inside the temporary house.
“…Morning already?”
Sunlight obviously couldn’t reach this deep inside the dungeon, but the internal clock magic built into the house notified them of the ti.
Inside the dining room, Ai was already awake.
She was lazily stretching while sipping tea.
“Morning, Tatsuro.”
“Morning. Did anything happen overnight?”
“Nope. Completely peaceful. Almost too peaceful.”
Tatsuro nodded.
That itself confird their theory.
If the dungeon had truly glitched during the reopening update, the administrators—or whatever system controlled it—might be recalibrating things.
Soon the others gathered.
Nana ca in first.
“Breakfast slls good!”
Behind her Athena entered calmly, while Leah and Cardina were discussing the materials they had gathered from the previous floor.
Leah spread several items across the table.
“These are all materials from the rock golem yesterday.”
Large fragnts of enchanted stone.
Crystal dust.
And a few rare mineral cores.
“These are all extrely high-grade. Normally materials like these only appear in much deeper layers.”
Ai whistled.
“So the difficulty spike really was abnormal.”
Tatsuro crossed his arms.
“That ans waiting here was probably the right decision.”
Athena nodded.
“If monsters like that appear every floor, it would beco inefficient for SP farming.”
The skill Level Eater worked best when enemies were weakened carefully.
If enemies were overwhelmingly strong, they had to destroy them quickly instead.
Which defeated the purpose.
Just then—
Ping.
A faint system notification echoed in the air.
Everyone froze.
A translucent panel appeared.
Dungeon Notice
Adjustnt Completed.
Floor Difficulty Recalibrated.
Thank you for your patience.
“…Ah.”
Ai blinked.
“They actually fixed it.”
Leah checked her detection magic.
“The magical density of the dungeon changed.”
Athena added calmly:
“The monster population is also increasing again.”
Which ant sothing important.
The dungeon had returned to normal balance.
Nana clenched her fists excitedly.
“So we can continue exploring now?!”
Tatsuro smiled.
“Yes.”
He stood up and stretched.
“Looks like the real dungeon run starts today.”
Ai cracked her knuckles.
“Good. I was getting bored resting.”
Jeanne outside the house gave a loud cry.
“Peeeewee!”
Everyone prepared their gear again.
This ti, without the overwhelming difficulty spike.
They headed toward the glowing pond that led to the next floor.
And beyond it—
New monsters.
New materials.
And far greater SP awaited them.
Tatsuro grinned.
“Alright everyone.”
“Let’s go eat so levels.”
