Forsyx stared at the destruction below with wide eyes.

As far as his eyes could see, there was nothing but charred ground.

Right at the center of that massive crater, Danish lay there with his own sword pierced through his chest.

Even though he was about to die, Danish had that wide smile. The next mont, his smile froze, and so did his body, which went limp.

Forsyx saw others falling to the ground in relief.

Yeah, not happiness, but relief that they had managed to survive.

True to their fa, the Radiant Trio were far more powerful than all the elites gathered here.

He looked around at the battered players.

Just three of them managed to wipe out almost 80 percent of the group.

The only ones unscathed from that war were Lucami and he, because both of them never actually took part in the battle at all.

As for the kill count, Zanarc died alongside all his team mbers.

It was the sa for Drakim.

Heck, in the beginning, when Drakim switched to that hybrid half-drake form, he thought they might take down the Radiant Trio with ease—but his guess was far from the truth.

After the initial bit of shock, those guys attacked Drakim together, killing him before the others could even react.

From there, it was just a massacre.

The only reason the Trio died must have been due to them using most of their power in the stone snake hunt.

If not for that, he doubted if the others could even kill one of them.

Even though both Rodium and Cion barely survived, it was all because they never dared to go close to those three.

As for their guild mbers—well, let's just say one or two people survived here and there by luck.

Out of 100 Pulse-combined elite mbers, the total survivor count was less than 10.

Even though this was what he wanted, instead of feeling happy, he felt frustration—frustration at his own powerlessness.

He was wrong about them. Not three, just one of them would have managed to deal with him during the monster awakening cycle.

This battle reminded him of the past. The past, where he saw the destruction of his world as a helpless bystander.

He sighed.

Just having the Template Wilder class was nothing.

Forget about the ga world—he was the weakest among the top players of this single beginner village.

He glanced at Rodium and Cion.

The Radiant Trios were one thing, but even these guys were far more powerful than he had expected.

Then he glanced at Lucami.

The darker the surroundings beca, the more ominous the energy he could sense from her.

It was like so kind of hidden power was also waking up inside her during the night.

These guys were the true powerhouses, far stronger than the likes of him.

Heck, after witnessing their strength, he even started to doubt his Template Wilder class. But then he shook his head.

Right now, he might not deserve to stand with them.

Maybe he was only able to reach the top ten because of his past life experience, but he swore it wouldn't be the sa for long.

At this mont, all the dead bodies started disintegrating around them, each of them dropping an item or two.

He glanced at Elish and Luka's bodies.

Both of them dropped the weapons they used to fight.

Those were all high bronze-grade weapons, but nothing he could use.

But the mont Danish vanished, he saw a familiar saggy black egg with white spots.

Everyone's eyes lit up when they saw that egg.

He looked at them and clicked his tongue. "Forget it. You can keep this egg yourself."

With that, he switched back to the Pipler bird form and flew back to the Backwater Village.

Right at that mont, he heard another notification.

Ding!!

[You have killed the Hibiki boss snake hidden near the village.]

[You have leveled up!]

[You have leveled up!]

[You have leveled up!]

[You have leveled up!]

[You have leveled up!]

[Calculating the damage contribution... 77% damage contribution detected.]

[More than fifty percent contribution detected.

Special Reward: Shimaki Whip (mid bronze grade), Hibiki poison sack, 2 gold coins.]

Forsyx froze for a mont and looked toward the first battleground.

For so reason, all he saw were hundreds of canines running around there.

There were no players left.

Then he looked at his contribution—it was an abnormal 77%.

Heck, the only way that was possible was if most of the players who took part in the battle died before the Hibiki snake.

Not only that, he received no notification of the red fox's death.

He just stared at the armies of canines.

Did those guys manage to protect the red fox, or did sothing else happen?

After a mont, he just sighed and took a look at his inventory.

The Hibiki eyes were already there—that was a given, since he only got the special reward and not the death reward.

In Apex Ascension, you would get these mandatory special rewards upon the death of a boss monster based on damage contribution.

These were more of an extra reward and were nothing compared to the system reward or the value of the dead boss' monster body.

Well, it looked like soone else gained the Hibiki body, and he had a strong suspicion that it wasn't a player.

No matter what, at least he was right about the Hibiki snake being a trap.

After watching the Radiant Trio, he was not in the mood to deal with anything more.

Also, he had been in the ga for more than 20 hours.

20 hours full of action at that.

He just wanted to rest now.

As he reached the village, he saw very few players.

From their curious behavior, most of them were the new ones who had just joined the ga.

Not caring about them, he switched back to human form and sat next to the butcher shop.

His action didn't gather much attention this ti, as only a rare few were around the butcher shop now.

After waiting for 10 minutes, he saw Lucami, Rodium, and Cion walking toward the butcher's shop.

None of them said anything at first as they walked to the side section of the shop.

Just before they reached the old butcher, Cion said to him, "I am thankful for the egg. Don't worry—I will not back down on my deal. After joining my guild, I will send you guys compensation for the egg."

Forsyx just nodded his head, as he was in no mood to discuss the egg.

He already had more than enough, though he glanced at Lucami.

He for sure thought that she was going to kill everyone there, but it looked like he was wrong about her, too.

He sighed and said, "Let's just submit the quest first." With that, they reached the old butcher.
