Youko, Luke and Sitri would battle the slis in that order.
Tina didn’t say anything about participating for so reason.

“They’re slis, for crying out loud.” (Elmia)
Elmia was wearing scarletite armor, and it was obvious that she was no noob adventurer.
There four people started charging against one of the slis.
“Kyupi.”
The sli wasn’t on guard at all.
It didn’t show any fear against Youko and her party.
It didn’t budge at all, even if Youko and the others were steadily closing in.
Actually, the slis were about to jump at when Johann summoned them, so I imdiately used the enslavent magic’s connection to warn them to behave themselves.
The slis earnestly kept that order, and they obediently behaved themselves.
“They… don’t even try to run.” (Youko)
“Nor do they attack.” (Hakua)
“Isn’t it a bit too pitiful to just attack them like this?” (Seira)
“Y-Yeah.” (Elmia)
The four of them hesitated.
Yeah, I guess it did seem a bit hard to attack soone who didn’t even try to resist?
I was about to command the sli to attack because of that thought, when Youko moved first.
“Sorry. I won’t get any praise from Master if I don’t defeat you.”
Flas appeared on her palm.
“Goodbye.”
It seed like she decided to end it in an instant.
She launched her ball of fire that contained more than enough mana for a single sli towards her opponent.
“Kyupi?”
“—What!?”
Youko was dumbfounded.
Her magic attack did hit the sli.
Even the power of the spell she released wasn’t sothing a re sli could resist, supposedly.
And yet, the sli just jiggled on the spot as if nothing happened.
“You’re going too easy on it, Youko.”
“N-No…that’s not it. There’s no way —”
“It’s fine. I’ll be the one — to do it!”
Hakua cut off Youko and launched a Flying Fist attack at the sli.
She could use this attack after being taught by rdie.
Being the dragon that she was, Hakua could easily pulverize A-ranked monsters easily with that Flying Fist attack.
And yet —
It just made a bouncing sound before being swallowed completely by the sli.
“—E, Eh!?”
And so, Hakua was stupefied at the scene that unfolded before her, just like Youko.
That’s because she was an S-ranked monster — the strongest of them all — and yet her attack didn’t even work on an F-ranked monster.
“Youko, Hakua, you’re going too easy on it.”
Elmia drew her sword and slashed at the sli.
Her sword cut the sli in half.
However —
“Hmpf….Hm!? W-What the heck!?”
The sli’s body that had been split into half jiggled for a bit on that spot, before fusing together once again.
“My goodness, Elmia. There’s no way a slice attack won’t work on a sli!”
This ti around, Seira conjured a spear of light out of thin air.
She decided not to go easy on the sli after witnessing Youko, Hakua and Elmia’s failure.
They wouldn’t leave a good impression on Johann — their proctor — if all four of them failed.
Seira infused just enough mana to easily obliterate B-ranked monster into her spell before releasing it.
“Holy Lance!”
The light spear pierced through the sli.
“Kyupi!”
“N-No way…”
Sli jiggled.
Yeah. Yeah!
This is aweso.
I confird that the Divine Protection I gave the slis provided them with quite a strong resistance ability, so I was happy.

I heard a voice that seed like it ca from the sli through the enslavent magic.
I did ta monsters that normally didn’t have the ability to converse with people, such as maho nos and crenus, previously, but we never had a conversation through the enslavent magic.
((Sli…right?))

It was a soft, fluffy, adorable, warm voice.
I could feel it soothing .
((Do you need anything?))
((Yup. Is it better if I don’t attack yet?))

I see, so that’s why it didn’t retaliate.

The sli suddenly vanished from the girls’ sight.
“Wha!? It disappeared.”
“W-Where is it?”
Youko and Hakua were flustered as they searched for their enemy.
Whoa, it’s quite fast.
I could see the sli’s movents.
It moved with great speed as it approached Youko and the girls from behind while concealing itself.
Tentacles stretched from the sli’s body, and they constrained the four girls in an instant.

“L-Let go!”
“Nnn, n-not there~”
“Seira! Urk!? S-Sto —”
It was kinda erotic
The four girls desperately floundered, trying to break free from the tentacles binding them, but the sli didn’t look like it would let go anyti soon.

The sli’s happy voice was transmitted through the enslavent magic.
“Ryuushin! We’re saving Youko and the others!”
“Y-Yeah!”
“Us, too.”
“We will join you!”
Luke’s team, the next party set to battle, tried to rescue Youko and her team, but —
