"No way, how am I supposed to clean all this by myself?" Jinsheng had been rich before, living a life of utter laziness, and completely unwilling to do housework.

She walked over to Mo Jiao’s wardrobe, picked up his jacket, and casually folded it: "At most, I’ll tidy up the wardrobe. For the rest, why don’t you do it yourself?"

Seeing Mo Jiao sneer at her without responding, Jinsheng raised her hand to rub her temple and shook her head repeatedly: "I can’t do this anymore. My head is spinning, it hurts so bad. I think I’m dying."

Mo Jiao, unable to take it anymore, strode over, grabbed her by the arm, and dragged her to the door: "Get out. If you’re going to die, don’t die in my room."

"Okay then~" Jinsheng imdiately sprang back to life.

As she ran off, she didn’t forget to turn around and give Mo Jiao a thumbs-up: "Wow, I suddenly feel like I can live again. Dr. Mo, your healing touch is truly miraculous!"

Mo Jiao: ...

Why did he even bother with her?

After figuring out Bai Yan was most likely the one who tampered with her mory, Jinsheng had been observing the neighbors with her five Beast Husbands in shifts over the past few days.

During this ti, she also practiced shooting at a newly built shooting range in the Space.

"Su Ye, are you ready yet?" Jinsheng called out from the front door.

She wanted to improve her skills. Besides shooting, it was only natural to learn so combat techniques too.

Conveniently, her man doubled as a free trainer—it wouldn’t make sense not to take advantage.

Su Ye returned from the garden gate, holding a large bouquet of black and red roses.

Jinsheng was surprised: "I’ve been waiting for you so long—did you go to get flowers?"

"I’m curious too... Who exactly prepared these flowers for you?" Su Ye chuckled softly.

Then he turned the bouquet around, showing the side with the card to Jinsheng.

As soon as she saw the card, Jinsheng’s smile froze.

Card: My dear, have you broken up with Li today? ^_^

"I’ve never seen such a ssage on a flower card before," Su Ye remarked with interest.

"Jinsheng, take a look—this na, Jinsheng—is it another person with exactly the sa na as you?"

With just one glance, Jinsheng knew exactly who had sent the flowers.

Suppressing her guilt, she cast a suspicious look at Su Ye: "Su Ye, this wasn’t another one of your pranks, was it?"

Five n, and she’d only managed to stabilize one of them so far.

So there was absolutely no way she could let the existence of Li slip in front of them—unless Li just agreed to marry her outright.

For now, no amount of explaining would work. Passing the bla was much more effective.

Su Ye was stunned. Seeing Jinsheng’s genuinely puzzled expression, he realized there might actually be no trickery on her part.

Could it really have been a prank by one of the other Beast Husbands?

Su Ye brought the bouquet inside, with Jinsheng close on his heels.

"Whoever bought this, step forward now," Su Ye said, placing the flowers on the coffee table.

The other four n, previously busy with their own tasks, turned to look at him in confusion.

Yu Yunxiao covered his nose and backed away: "I’m allergic to rose pollen. It wasn’t ."

"I don’t even like roses. Definitely not ," Huaiqing explained.

"Don’t look at . Every penny I own is on her. I couldn’t afford it," Mo Jiao said, throwing up his hands.

Su Ye turned his gaze toward Que Zelian: "Was it you?"

Que Zelian closed the book he was reading, gave the roses a once-over, and said, "These are Dark Night Roses, which only grow on the cliffs of Mist West. I couldn’t have bought them even if I wanted to."

"Soone’s trying to ss with us," Jinsheng said, pulling out the card before Su Ye could reply. "Random flowers with such weird ssages? Could it be one of your enemies playing a trick?"

Mo Jiao snatched the card and chuckled after taking a look: "Seems like whoever’s ssing with you sure cares a lot about you."

"Stop laughing and reflect—could this be soone you pissed off?" Jinsheng demanded self-righteously at Mo Jiao.

Mo Jiao tossed the card back onto the table. "Anyone who’d still hold a grudge against has their tombstone covered in two ters of grass. If it were really them, they’d send over weeds, not roses."

"Honestly, it’s probably one of your enemies," Yu Yunxiao speculated. "Knowing your temper—and the fact that your mory isn’t fully intact—who knows how many people you’ve offended and forgotten about?"

"You’ve got a point!" Jinsheng quickly agreed.

"Did you see anyone delivering the flowers?" Huaiqing asked Su Ye.

Su Ye shook his head. "When I stepped out, I just saw the flowers hanging on the doorknob. If not for Jinsheng’s na on the card, I would’ve thrown the suspicious thing away."

"If it’s unclear where they ca from, just leave it," Que Zelian said, steeping tea as his gaze fell on Jinsheng. "They’re just wildflowers. If there’s no poison, and Jinsheng likes them, let her keep them."

For so reason, Jinsheng always felt guilty eting Que Zelian’s gaze, as if he knew sothing.

"Should we grow them in the Space?" Jinsheng proposed. "Didn’t Que Zelian say these flowers only grow on the cliffs of Mist West? We can try planting them in the Space."

"You really want to bring wildflowers ho, huh?" Su Ye swept his golden eyes toward her.

Jinsheng countered, "I’m thinking about profits! If we can grow these flowers, we could sell them during festivals."

"Think about it—for every female who has at least five Beast Husbands, that’s five buyers in one family alone. Isn’t that at least five orders per household?"

"Hmm, not bad, smart business sense," Mo Jiao said, patting Jinsheng on the head. "But I’m planting trees, so count out on the flowers."

"I’m allergic to roses, so it’s a no from ," Yu Yunxiao said, continuing to keep a safe distance from the bouquet.

"Que Zelian~" Jinsheng looked at him with dewy eyes.

Que Zelian placed a warm cup of tea in her hands and chuckled. "I said I’d let you keep the wildflowers—I didn’t agree to help you plant them."

When Jinsheng sought Huaiqing’s help with pleading eyes, he adjusted his glasses and shook his head. "I’m better at making flower pastries than growing flowers."

Jinsheng’s eyes lit up: "If we can’t grow them anyway, why not just turn the free flowers into pastries?"

Huaiqing paused, gave the provocatively-worded card on the table a glance, and then nodded. "We do need to prep food for the trip to Mist West. Flower pastries are convenient to carry."

With everyone (except Yu Yunxiao) on board, the whole family got to work plucking the rose petals.

Successfully turning Li’s roses into pastries, Jinsheng secretly sighed in relief.

At dinner, the usual nightly program began once again.

Even though Jinsheng had been sleeping alone the past few days, Que Zelian still asked, "Who are you sleeping with tonight?"

"I... I’d still prefer to sleep alone," Jinsheng replied.

Since the house was safe—provided no mist rolled in—she didn’t fear sleeping alone.

But if she shared a bed with Que Zelian, who knew what nightly antics might occur? Especially given his penchant for floating positions, which, admittedly, she sort of enjoyed...

Sighing in defeat, Jinsheng thought to herself, "I need to win over the other four n before letting Que Zelian get too comfortable."

Feeling like a scumbag, she avoided Que Zelian’s probing gaze as she went upstairs to her room.

"Can’t see him, don’t know him," Jinsheng muttered to herself, covering her ears in denial.

Hearing this, Que Zelian chuckled softly but didn’t follow her to tease her further.

Once back in her room, Jinsheng curled up on the couch, giggling over a romance novel she’d swiped from Mo Jiao’s room. Hours passed before she begrudgingly got up to wash up and prepare for bed.

It was then that Star Map sent her a ssage.

Buff Dude Who Won’t Let Touch His Abs: Open the door.

Jinsheng: ???
