Her mind is very chaotic right now.
A bunch of jumbled mories suddenly appear in her mind.
Xiao Jinsheng doesn’t even know which ones to focus on, or who to trust.
At least so people around her, Xiao Jinsheng from the chaotic mories, made so of her own judgnts.
Li, whom she picked up and who has been trapped outside the Terminal shelter with her for half a month, is trustworthy.
The five Beast Husbands who ca to her are assigned by the Terminal, and the Terminal binding relationship inherently makes them trustworthy.
Yet Xiao Jinsheng can’t forget the nightmare she had.
And then there’s Bai Yan.
Even now, her mories of Bai Yan only include today’s sudden recollection where Bai Yan admitted she falsely claid to have returned to the Terminal shelter, causing herself and Li to be trapped outside and forced into a nomadic escape, which was a bad impression of Bai Yan.
In other mories, Bai Yan in her heart is her inexplicably trusted friend.
Even if she has a hundred points, with ninety-nine points of a good impression of Bai Yan and only one point of bad impression.
With just that one point of bad impression, Xiao Jinsheng still doesn’t trust Bai Yan.
Her trust in Bai Yan is simply too bizarre.
Xiao Jinsheng suspects that her increasingly chaotic mories are likely Bai Yan’s doing.
In the nightmare, the five Beast Husbands eventually choose, for unknown reasons, to kill her one by one with a knife.
Now Xiao Jinsheng doesn’t dare trust anyone.
She jolts awake, sitting up in bed.
In her mind, she suspects her mory loss could very well be Bai Yan’s doing.
Xiao Jinsheng’s imagination runs wild.
She speculates that if Bai Yan can alter her mories, does that imply that Bai Yan can also see her mories when modulating them?
If she leaves clues for her future self, who may lose even more mories, would Bai Yan discover them?
The more Xiao Jinsheng thinks, the more terrified she becos, but she is still determined to leave clues and hints for herself.
While she is contemplating how, there’s a knock at the door from outside.
Xiao Jinsheng imdiately becos alert and asks coldly, "Who is it?"
At this ti, the ones who could co to her house are definitely those five Beast Husbands.
Thinking of this, Xiao Jinsheng gets angry.
She had already warned them not to co to the second floor without her permission.
Xiao Jinsheng is about to shout a warning when she hears Su Ye’s voice from outside: "It’s , I’m hungry."
"If you’re hungry then go eat, were you hoping I’d make you a al?" Xiao Jinsheng gets out of bed and walks quickly to the door, speaking harshly.
She first unlocks several locks but doesn’t see Su Ye’s figure outside the door.
Xiao Jinsheng looks left, looks right, just puzzled when she hears a voice from above her head: "Can I borrow your kitchen?"
Su Ye’s question cos from above Xiao Jinsheng’s head.
She looks up in fright, only to see Su Ye spreading his legs, his whole person supported at the corner of the hallway walls.
Facing Xiao Jinsheng’s widened eyes, Su Ye nonchalantly explains, "You said yourself, it’s an exception for to go upstairs between the two floors."
"Now it’s between the second floor and the top floor," Su Ye replies.
Xiao Jinsheng looks up at him, falling into silence.
She said it casually, mainly because she couldn’t stand Su Ye opposing her.
Who knew he was so abstract.
Really hanging between the two floors...
"Co down," Xiao Jinsheng says speechlessly, her gaze sweeping over his golden eyes filled with hostility from the first mont she saw him.
She doesn’t know why.
Upon first eting, Su Ye seed quite a dangerous person to her.
But now, how does he give her the feeling there’s sothing foolish about him?
Xiao Jinsheng falls into silence, starting to reflect on how she was actually stabbed to death by such a foolish fellow?
"Can’t co down," Su Ye replies.
Just as Xiao Jinsheng looks up in confusion to see him, Su Ye raises his eyebrows, his golden eyes staring straight back at her, but he’s still hanging on the wall, not intending to co down.
In less than a day, Su Ye self-admits he’s figured out so of Xiao Jinsheng’s personality.
This is a Female with a rather abnormal brain circuit.
Soone who could say coming up must be hung between the first and second floors.
If he truly listens to her now and jumps down from the wall.
Su Ye guarantees that in the next second, Xiao Jinsheng would have a reason to kick him off the second floor, or even out the door.
He simply retreated the way he ca.
As Xiao Jinsheng looks at him in shock, Su Ye demonstrates so special operative techniques for her.
Swiftly climbing on the smooth wall, silently making his way from the hallway to the stairway leading to the first floor.
Leaving only Xiao Jinsheng with a face of shock, watching his disappearing back, she helplessly rubs her head.
She wanders like a ghost, swaying back and forth, also heading to the first floor.
Upon reaching the first floor, she faces four n sitting coldly in the living room whom she has been cold-hearted toward.
Seeing only four of them, Xiao Jinsheng quickly looks up, trying to find Su Ye’s figure who might be hanging on the wall.
"What are you looking for?" A familiar voice sounds from behind.
Xiao Jinsheng shudders, turns around in panic, only to see Su Ye erging from sowhere unknown.
She hurriedly asks, "Where did you co from?"
Just knows how to frighten her!
Not to ntion delivering her Zombie and Mutant Beast bones at their first eting.
Hanging outside her bedroom ceiling when looking for her.
Now...
"When I ca downstairs, I heard so noise under the stairway, so I went to check," Su Ye replies.
Seeing Xiao Jinsheng’s disbelief, he produces evidence.
In his hand, he’s holding a half-ter-long mutant Thousand-legged Worm.
Su Ye curiously asks, "Did you originally prefer keeping bugs?"
At this mont, Su Ye understands why he’s not favored by Xiao Jinsheng.
Clearly, Xiao Jinsheng likes bugs.
Yet his prepared gift was bones.
This gift didn’t touch Xiao Jinsheng’s heart at all.
Xiao Jinsheng glares at the bug in his hand with rage.
She takes a step back and moves away two ters, simultaneously warning: "Quickly throw it out, today one of you or the dead bug must leave this house!"
"Oh." Su Ye feels aggrieved inside, keeping a straight face without making any noticeable reaction.
He imdiately throws the struggling Thousand-legged Worm outside into the courtyard.
Watching the crawling bug on the ground, Su Ye feels more and more aggrieved.
Simply casting a superpower, instantly crushing the Thousand-legged Worm into a soft shell mixed with juices.
Next door, Bai Yan, enjoying a small snack with a relaxed deanor.
Receiving the system alert about the destruction of the Thousand-legged Worm, her face imdiately darkens.
But upon considering that the Thousand-legged Worm doesn’t look much better than a Fog Corpse.
Now that it’s dead, so be it.
"System, you have so many tools, why did you use a bug to monitor Xiao Jinsheng?" Bai Yan asks with a feeling of helplessness.
[There are surveillance tools that aren’t bugs, but they require points to exchange, only bugs are free]
The system replies, with no hint of politeness.
Bai Yan falls silent for a mont, resignedly accepting bug surveillance on Xiao Jinsheng.
After all, these bugs are concealed in Xiao Jinsheng’s house, and won’t disgust her.
Discovered only as ordinary mutant bugs of Mist Continent.
Just that, being bugs, they can provide Bai Yan’s system with information feedback.
So they’re rely ordinary mutant bugs, Xiao Jinsheng, apart from being disgusted by them, doesn’t pay much attention.
She has five butchers that need handling.
