The weapons available from the terminal range from 1 Star to 12 Stars as well.
However, it doesn’t an the higher the Star Level, the better the item.
There are 12 Star useless pieces of equipnt, and there are also 1 Star durable Divine Artifacts.
Whether the equipnt is good or bad depends on how the owner uses it.
At least, Xiao Jinsheng was quite satisfied with this 10 Star silver pistol.
This was an energy pistol, with ammunition filled using a Crystal Core or Star Stone.
Using Star Stones as ammunition naturally made it more powerful than using Crystal Cores.
At the sa ti, the pistol functioned differently from conventional firearms.
Since she now existed in the Mist Continent, an entirely different world, Xiao Jinsheng didn’t dwell on such minor details. Instead, she took out a Star Stone, loaded it into the pistol, and began her research.
To use the pistol, you just need to pull the trigger to fire the ammunition.
If your trigger finger is fast enough, you can even fire dozens of Energy Bullets in a single second.
The power of the pistol depends on how long you hold the trigger before releasing it.
Quickly pulling and releasing the trigger counts as a light attack, resulting in weaker Energy Bullets.
If you hold the trigger down for a prolonged period, the pistol enters charge mode.
Charging has no ti limit — once all the energy from the loaded Crystal Core or Star Stone is funneled into a single bullet, the wielder can then fire the charged shot.
One critical thing to note about charge mode is that its effectiveness depends on the wielder’s familiarity with the weapon and their ability to gauge how the charging ti affects the power of the Energy Bullet.
As long as the wielder masters charging, they can easily control the energy and power of every shot they fire.
The terminal not only provides a guide for weapon usage but also an explanation of the weapon’s binding system.
The weapon is bound to its owner, aning if it’s ever taken, others can’t use it.
Additionally, due to the binding, if the weapon’s owner dies, the weapon will self-destruct automatically.
Xiao Jinsheng couldn’t stop praising the intelligence and thoughtfulness of this binding system.
After all, she definitely did not want an enemy picking up her gun and being able to use it.
Overnight, her Spiritual Power Level had risen to 3 Stars, her physique had also improved.
She even gained a 12 Star Space and now possessed a weapon she couldn’t be happier with.
At this mont, Xiao Jinsheng’s courage soared.
She checked the ti on her Star Map — 9:30 in the morning.
She also heard Huaiqing outside the room preparing breakfast.
Xiao Jinsheng picked up her pistol, ready to head out and test its power on a Fog Corpse.
When she reached the door, though, her courage wavered. She timidly retreated to the sofa and tugged on Que Zelian: "Co with to find a Fog Corpse."
"I saw how eager you were — I thought you were planning to head out alone," Que Zelian chuckled softly.
Still, he put down his book and followed Xiao Jinsheng out the door.
"You..." Yu Yunxiao, erging from the kitchen, ran into Xiao Jinsheng as she left the room.
He hadn’t planned on greeting her.
But upon noticing Xiao Jinsheng’s Spiritual Power Level, he froze. "Did your Spiritual Power level up?"
"You were just at 1 Star yesterday. How did you jump to 3 Stars overnight?"
"Because I’m smart and hardworking." Xiao Jinsheng proudly lifted her chin.
Humility?
Sorry, she didn’t know the aning of the word.
Especially after soaking in Yu Yunxiao’s shocked reaction, her mood skyrocketed.
She raised a hand and beckoned, "Little kitty, follow . Big Sis will show you how to kill a Fog Corpse."
"Big Sis, my foot." Yu Yunxiao was exasperated. "I’m two months older than you."
Wait, Xiao Jinsheng wanted to kill a Fog Corpse?
Now, this was sothing new.
After all, the mory of her bawling her eyes out while being chased by a crippled Fog Corpse not too long ago was still fresh in his mind.
That she was fearless enough to face a Fog Corpse within one night — could it be her newfound 3 Star Spiritual Power giving her this boldness?
Other than Que Zelian, the four n who hadn’t grasped the situation yet were also curious.
So, they trailed behind Xiao Jinsheng.
Xiao Jinsheng turned on her Fog Dispersing Lamp, hanging it on her little backpack. She was too pumped to even eat breakfast and charged out with her weapon.
For sure, with the Fog Dispersing Lamp’s help, visibility in Mist West was noticeably extended.
At least, she spotted a Fog Corpse ten ters away ramming into a tree with just one glance.
Before, she probably would need to walk right up to such a Fog Corpse to even notice it.
The effective range of Xiao Jinsheng’s pistol was about thirty ters.
Hitting a Fog Corpse from ten ters away would obviously be no problem.
Coupled with the weapon’s simplicity, she raised her pistol and aid at the Fog Corpse’s swaying head.
As for shooting experience, Xiao Jinsheng did have so.
Naturally, she was referring to amusent arcade gas where you shoot balloons and win plushies.
Taking a deep breath, calming her racing heart, Xiao Jinsheng felt a mix of nervousness and excitent. It wasn’t false — this was her first ti killing an actual monster like a Fog Corpse in real life.
She aid at the Fog Corpse’s head and held the trigger down for a long ti.
The four n who didn’t understand how the pistol worked looked at her doubtfully.
"If you’re scared and can’t pull the trigger, just go back," Mo Jiao grumbled impatiently. "I must have been out of my mind to believe you’d dare kill a Fog Corpse."
He had assud Xiao Jinsheng had grown tougher in the outside world.
Who would’ve thought this girl would just aim forever without daring to shoot?
Losing interest, Mo Jiao turned and headed back indoors.
His long legs had barely touched the steps when the sharp sound of a shot splitting the air rang out behind him.
A twenty-second charged Energy Bullet hit its mark squarely on the Fog Corpse’s head, blasting it into pieces.
The explosion even snapped the tree the Fog Corpse had been smashing into, sending it crashing to the ground.
Mo Jiao froze in astonishnt at the sight in front of him.
With her sharp eyes, Xiao Jinsheng noticed a Star Stone lying beside the Fog Corpse’s shattered head.
Overjoyed, she clutched her weapon and ran toward it. "Yes! Yes! Yes! I got my own Star Stone!"
"Wait, even zombies that weren’t chasing drop Star Stones?" Xiao Jinsheng wondered if her luck was truly off the charts.
Ecstatic, she dashed up to the corpse to grab the Star Stone, but when she got a close look at the Fog Corpse’s blown-apart brains, her stomach churned. She turned to a nearby tree and began dry-heaving.
"Wow, that’s grueso." Mo Jiao had caught up nearby.
Looking at the headless Fog Corpse and the pool of brain matter splattered across the ground, he sighed and shook his head. Then, with a mocking smile directed at Xiao Jinsheng, he said, "You’re brutal."
Steadying herself against the tree, Xiao Jinsheng swallowed her aversion to the graphic scene and glared at Mo Jiao.
Mo Jiao continued his provocation: "What’s this, you’ve got the guts to kill but not to pick the loot? That’s a Star Stone, you know."
"Who said I wouldn’t pick it up?" Xiao Jinsheng huffed, snapping two sticks off a bush and using them to gingerly lift the gore-coated Star Stone.
Catching Mo Jiao off guard, she flicked the Star Stone, along with bits of flesh, straight into his chest.
"Oh my god!" Xiao Jinsheng gasped, covering her mouth, failing to hide her mischievous grin as she innocently gazed at Mo Jiao’s now-livid expression. "I...I guess I’m still a little scared, so my hands slipped."
"I’m sorry, Killer Mo, I was just too frightened to hold it steady."
"Xiao Jinsheng, you’re unbelievable!" Mo Jiao gritted his teeth at the unwelco blood and guts now staining his clothes.
"’Unbelievable’ is Su Ye’s catchphrase. Don’t steal his lines," Xiao Jinsheng teased with wide eyes.
Feigning ekness, she picked up the Star Stone with the sticks once more and carefully avoided another accident.
Mo Jiao, now on high alert, kept an intense watch on her actions.
Wary of her pulling the sa stunt again, he quickly turned and walked away, not giving Xiao Jinsheng another chance to ss with him.
But monts later, they bumped into each other at the water faucet.
