"So what? She still copied my superpower," Yu Yunxiao huffed.
"You know it’s copied," Su Ye chuckled and said bluntly, "Once it’s copied, it belongs to her. What’s the problem with seeking her help for treatnt?"
Seeing two Beast Husbands about to argue over this, Xiao Jinsheng quickly stepped in.
She dropped the pen and paper ant for choreographing dance moves and placed herself between them. "I’ll dance. I’ll take the lead and teach you. You’re all learning from ."
"Alright, stop fighting." Li was the first to rise, stepping briskly over and wrapping his arm around Xiao Jinsheng’s waist. He gazed down at her with a smile, "Start by teaching , will you?"
"I’m a bit slow; I need one-on-one instruction to learn properly."
"If you know you’re slow, don’t try to learn," Mo Jiao said coldly. "You’ll just waste everyone’s ti."
"It’s her teaching , not you, so why do you care?" Li sneered.
"Learn together, all of you learn together." Seeing another argunt brewing between two Beast Husbands, Xiao Jinsheng urgently intervened again.
In the end, it was decided she would perform a segnt first—seven Beast Husbands would watch once, then follow along to learn.
The dance routine, titled *Goodnight, Lady*, had only a few simple moves. Xiao Jinsheng sang the lyrics softly as she perford her choreography.
Today, she was wearing the dress Shi Xie had prepared for her.
Made of water-cloud silk, the fabric glimred with iridescent silver under the play of light and shadows.
The fishtail hem of her skirt swirled, leaving an ethereal trail of lotus blossoms wherever she stepped.
As the dance concluded and Xiao Jinsheng stood up from her bow, she noticed the seven Beast Husbands seated neatly on the sofa, their gazes filled with admiration—not a hint of actual learning intent.
"This dance is really simple. Did you all learn it?" Xiao Jinsheng asked.
"Too difficult; I might need you to dance it again," Li sighed and shook his head.
"I missed a few moves sowhere in the middle," Que Zelian said with a chuckle.
"I was sitting too far to the side. When your back was turned, I couldn’t see so of the moves clearly," Huaiqing explained.
"Haven’t learned it—are you teaching us again?" Su Ye raised an eyebrow.
"It does seem a bit hard. Perhaps, I’m just slow... Female Master, could you perform the dance once more?" Shi Xie asked hopefully.
Li cast a cold glare at Shi Xie, "Copycat."
"I didn’t learn it. I require personal, one-on-one coaching," Mo Jiao said with a faint smile.
Yu Yunxiao drooped his cat-like ears and shook his head repeatedly, "I didn’t learn it; it’s too difficult."
If only one person said it was hard, Xiao Jinsheng might have believed them.
But looking at the seven n lounging arrogantly on the sofa, she couldn’t possibly trust their claims of incompetence.
"I’m not doing it again." Xiao Jinsheng declared, kicking off her slippers and slumping back against the chair. "The demonstration just now was the only run. If you learned it, co perform for . If not—one month without being in my favor rotation."
These words shifted the atmosphere. The leisurely expressions on the n’s faces disappeared in an instant.
"I think I learned it," Shi Xie was the quickest to react.
"Easy, just a couple of moves," Li imdiately stood up.
"Is this how you do it?" Su Ye, ever the action-oriented one, grabbed Xiao Jinsheng’s hand and started twisting into a few steps right then and there.
Xiao Jinsheng touched her flushed face with both hands, nodding repeatedly.
"So, you all learned it, right?" she asked excitedly. "Co on, line up and show your performance."
This ti, none of the n dared to claim they were slow learners.
Each one scrambled to secure a spot in the center of the lineup.
After all, being in the center ant being directly in front of Xiao Jinsheng’s seated position—performing for her in the pri spot.
Watching the seven n squabble over the center position, which was on the verge of escalating into a fight, Xiao Jinsheng quickly intervened again, "Stop fighting, don’t fight. Let’s follow the sequence determined previously by drawing lots and take turns as the center."
Once order was restored, Xiao Jinsheng relaxed back onto the sofa.
She couldn’t help but sigh inwardly.
All she wanted was to see seven handso n lined up dancing for her. Why was it proving so difficult?
Just as Huaiqing took his turn as lead and was about to start dancing, Xiao Jinsheng frowned and interrupted their movents, "I think you should change outfits."
"Do you think we’re so sort of professional dance troupe?" Mo Jiao raised an eyebrow and sneered coldly.
"Change, please change~" Xiao Jinsheng softened her tone, "This dance really needs formal attire for the full effect."
"Without the complete aesthetic, I won’t be able to eat or sleep properly," she added wistfully.
"What would you prefer to wear?" Que Zelian asked.
"Big Brother~ I knew you’d spoil ." Xiao Jinsheng exclaid in excitent, tugging Que Zelian by the hand and dragging him upstairs, "Open your wardrobe; I’ll pick for you."
For Que Zelian, Xiao Jinsheng was eager to see him perform dressed in vintage-style dance attire.
She then went on to hand-pick specific outfits for each man.
Huaiqing got a restrained yet alluring suit, Su Ye a combat outfit, Mo Jiao a gentleman’s formal wear, Yu Yunxiao a youthful campus-style ensemble, and Shi Xie exotic beauty-inspired attire.
Even Li wasn’t exempt; Xiao Jinsheng removed his mask and dressed him in elaborate dignified royal robes.
With the costu changes in place, music cued, and lighting adjusted, Xiao Jinsheng lounged chicly on the sofa, raising her hand to signal, "Cue the music, queue the dance."
The music had barely started its intro when Xiao Jinsheng abruptly stopped them again.
"Now what, Milady?" Su Ye raised an eyebrow and smiled as he beckoned her lightly with his fingers.
Xiao Jinsheng’s gaze locked onto the black leather gloves on Su Ye’s slender hands, suppressing her urge to tug at the belt wrapped tightly around his waist.
"I need a costu change to set the mood better." Forcing herself to look away from Su Ye, Xiao Jinsheng turned to search among her Space belongings.
Soon, she found a pair of high heels and slipped them on.
Leaning once again on the sofa, she crossed her legs and deliberately adjusted the drape of her dress’s hem.
"Now it’s perfect. Now it’s got the right vibe." Positioned languidly and tilting her chin slightly upward, Xiao Jinsheng signaled again, "Begin, please."
No one would—or could—refuse the sight of seven handso n, each with a distinctive charm, dancing to *Goodnight, Lady* to delight her.
Least of all Xiao Jinsheng.
As the music resud and the seven Beast Husbands took turns in the spotlight, their movents flowed seamlessly before her. Xiao Jinsheng pressed a fingertip against the corner of her lips, attempting to suppress overly smug laughter.
By the ti Caicai arrived back, he was greeted with the sight of Xiao Jinsheng standing in the center, nodding her head to coordinate the scene, while seven n swirled around her, indulging her whims as she warmly patted so and teasingly pinched others—a delightfully decadent tableau.
"Uh... Did you hire male models behind your Beast Husbands’ backs?" Caicai blurted out in disbelief.
The lighting in the room was dim.
And Caicai simply couldn’t imagine the likes of Huaiqing or Mo Jiao willing to humor Xiao Jinsheng by dancing such a frivolously embarrassing routine.
"What male models? They’re my husbands," Xiao Jinsheng snorted.
"Stop the dancing for now. I have sothing important to discuss," Caicai interjected.
"What’s the matter?" Xiao Jinsheng asked, her hands nonetheless clinging possessively to Yu Yunxiao’s tail, reluctant to let go.
"My Host wants to et you," Caicai announced.
"Huh?" Xiao Jinsheng paused, stunned. "Your Host?"
With those words, the music halted and the living room’s impromptu dance fest ca to an abrupt stop.
Que Zelian furrowed his brows and asked, "Your Host isn’t from the sa world as us, correct? Why do they want to et Xiao Jinsheng?"
Caicai clarified, "During my absence over the past few days, my Host asked where I had gone. I explained that I was here looking for Xiao Jinsheng and also ntioned mistakenly binding her previously, as well as how I’ll frequently be in this world in the future. So, they wanted to et her."
"But since you’re from different dinsions, any eting would naturally be via virtual projection," Caicai added. "Essentially, it’s just a video call."
Considering the situation, Xiao Jinsheng guessed Caicai’s Host might simply be uneasy about him traveling far from ho and wanted reassurance. With that, she agreed to the video invitation.
As the virtual screen activated, showing the otherworldly setting, Xiao Jinsheng froze, stunned by the person appearing on the screen.
