Chapter 980: Chapter 979: The Mother-in-law and Daughter-in-law Conflict

Gu Huanhuan breathed a sigh of relief, then picked up Warm sunlight and played with her.

Mrs. Wen had previously supported Gu Huanhuan’s career because, after all, having a daughter-in-law who was a star was sothing she was proud of. The more her mother-in-law talked, the more absurd it sounded to Gu Huanhuan, causing her to frown, but she couldn’t continue the conversation. She was afraid she might say sothing she’d regret and hurt everyone’s feelings.

Warm sunlight seed to sense her mother’s unhappiness and quietly sat there watching her.

She felt so stifled.
But when she looked through her contacts, she realized she had nowhere to go.
She certainly couldn’t go back to her cousin-in-law’s place, and her only close friend, Shen Weiwei, was out of town filming.
