It was because her life was too comfortable that she had lost her fighting spirit.

“No, you have to work, you often have etings, see company executives, et clients, and what would it look like for to be by your side?” Shu Pan said.
“How about I arrange a lighter job for you at the company?” Gu Shaoting thought for a mont, then suggested.
“I want to find a job on my own, at a different company,” Shu Pan insisted stubbornly, her resolved attitude seed unstoppable even by ten oxen.
Indeed, Gu Shaoting frowned slightly, “Let’s discuss this issue again tonight when we return.”
Having said that, Gu Shaoting stood up, wiped his mouth with a napkin, and then left without looking back, his briefcase in hand.

“Could you be any more hurtful with your words?” Shu Pan retorted, annoyed, well-aware of her appearance and still getting criticized.
“As your bestie, it’s my duty to remind you. With you looking so unkempt, what does Gu Shaoting think?” Ye Xiaong sighed.
