Chapter 915: Chapter 914: Offering You a Piece of Tranquility
At dusk, Wen Chi arranged everything for Warm Sunlight and then drove to the company to pick up Gu Huanhuan.
Gu Huanhuan had been reading scripts all day and felt sowhat exhausted, her eyes a bit sore.

As the car turned a corner, Gu Huanhuan suddenly opened her eyes, “Hey, this isn’t the way ho?”
“I’m taking you out to dinner,” said Wen Chi, his voice magnetic and charming.
“Why so romantic today? What good thing happened?” Gu Huanhuan asked with a smile.
“Guess?” Wen Chi deliberately played coy.
Gu Huanhuan pouted and thought hard for a mont; he was currently under suspension pending investigation, and she had heard that the process would take so ti, not so quickly resolved, so she had no idea what it could be.
“Did you win the lottery or sothing?” Gu Huanhuan ventured a guess.
“I don’t indulge in daydreams,” Wen Chi said with a chuckle, “I might not have the ti to take you starting from tomorrow, I am going back to work.”
“So soon? Has the issue been resolved? Is everything okay?” Gu Huanhuan asked several questions in quick succession.
“Yes, yes, yes, my dear wife, sadly, I can no longer live off your earnings, though I thought you might have to support a little while longer,” Wen Chi said, prompting an eye roll from Gu Huanhuan.
“Back to work so soon.” Gu Huanhuan had thought she could enjoy his company for a bit longer; they had been inseparable recently, and she was already accustod to it.
“Mhm, that’s why I’m taking you out tonight for a bit of romance. Warm Sunlight has had her milk and her congee, and she’ll probably be going to sleep soon,” Wen Chi said thoughtfully, knowing that Gu Huanhuan wouldn’t be able to stop worrying about their daughter so easily.
But Wen Chi felt the sa way, as Warm Sunlight was his precious gem, whom he truly wished he could cherish in the palm of his hand every day.
“That’s good, where do you plan to take ?” asked Gu Huanhuan.
“You’ll see when we get there,” Wen Chi’s car wove through the streets, finally coming to a stop.
Upon seeing the place, Gu Huanhuan fell in love with it at first sight. “Secluded Valley” in the midst of the bustling city, the na of the restaurant was “SUNNY DAY.” It was hard to believe that such an ethereal spot existed in the center of the city, the entire establishnt enclosed by greenery, with a European countryside-style garden, a minimalistic INS-style glass room, Nordic-style areas A and B, and a Chinese-style VIP section; one restaurant with various styles that unexpectedly complented each other well.
Gu Huanhuan turned around in surprise, “How did you find this place? It’s so beautiful.”
Wen Chi walked over, holding her hand, “I knew you’d like this sort of chic vibe, let’s go, my princess.”
The two entered the restaurant, and a spread of green opened up before their eyes, offering a mont of tranquility and relaxation.
The two sat down at a table in the glass room, “This is such a wonderful surprise, it’s my first ti here, and to think such an amazing place is hidden amid the hustle and bustle of the city, it’s truly unbelievable.”

Gu Huanhuan nodded, opened the nu, and couldn’t make up her mind; she wanted to try all the signature dishes.
So Gu Huanhuan ordered the spicy beef, lemon pomfret, baked seafood rice, and morel mushroom chicken soup.
Looking at the pictures, her appetite was whetted.
Wen Chi watched her with an indulgent smile, “Eat as much as you like.”
Soon, the dishes were served, and inhaling the savory aromas, Gu Huanhuan felt her day’s fatigue disappear.
The pomfret paired with lemon was an unexpected match made in heaven; without any added sourness, the fresh lemon was the primary ingredient. The color seed light, but the flavor was deeply infused. Gu Huanhuan ate her al with gusto, not even pausing to talk to Wen Chi.
