Chapter 1352: Chapter 1351 First eting

Zhou Yanlin felt a flicker of curiosity as he stood there, looking at the silhouette, and actually wanted to see who it was.

Actually, coming here was really quite boring.

As soon as he entered, he saw Auntie Shu, and his mother introduced them. Afterwards, he said he would take a walk on his own.

Auntie Shu’s place was very big, especially the courtyard, which took up quite a bit of space, all trimd and manicured beautifully.

There were quite a few people in the courtyard, but Zhou Yanlin was imdiately captivated by that particular silhouette.

He walked towards her slowly, as if afraid of disturbing her, already taking the lightest steps possible.

The owner of the silhouette was absorbed in swinging on the swing, unaware of his approach.

Finally, standing behind her, the swing ca toward him, and on impulse, he pushed it away.

That was when the person on the swing felt sothing.

Shu Joy found it odd, it felt as though soone was pushing her from behind, yet there had definitely been no one there just a mont ago.

So, she stopped the swing and turned around.

A tall and slender figure appeared before her, and even against the light, she could tell that he was a handso young man.

A few years her senior, perhaps, with delicate features, his silent presence alone exuded an invisible aura, as if he were a model stepped straight out of a magazine.

As Shu Joy sized up Zhou Yanlin, he was also looking at her.

Zhou Yanlin stared at her directly, and upon seeing the necklace around her neck, he realized her identity – she was Auntie Shu’s daughter, Shu Joy.

But he was still sowhat puzzled because he had heard from his mother that Auntie Shu’s husband’s surna was Gu, yet Shu Joy bore her mother’s surna.

This situation was quite uncommon.

However, he was only curious, not one to gossip.

“Who are you? I haven’t seen you before,” Shu Joy’s delicate voice rang out.

She thought for a mont, there did not seem to be such an older ‘brother’ among their family friends; she was seeing him for the first ti.

Although the young girl was only about ten years old, she already showed signs of future beauty, with exquisite features, jet-black straight hair, and a pair of bright eyes shining brilliantly.

“My mother is a friend of Auntie Shu,” Zhou Yanlin replied in his faint voice.

“Oh, you are Auntie Bai Lan’s son,” Shu Joy stated assertively.

Auntie Bai Lan had just given her a necklace, which she had almost instantly adored.

“Right,” Zhou Yanlin replied sparingly.

Shu Pan and Bai Lan chatted on the side, and when they saw the two not far away, they exchanged knowing smiles.

“Yan Lin is truly handso and also has a stable temperant; you won’t have to worry in the future,” Shu Pan thought, seeing the boy for the first ti, that he would certainly stand out.

“Ah, he shares his father’s disposition, quiet, reserved,” Bai Lan complained, “I envied you, you know? Joy is such a lady, so pretty and polite, considerate too.”

Envy was evident in Bai Lan’s voice; she too longed for a daughter, a wish it seed might remain unfulfilled.

Then again, she thought, even without a daughter of her own, she could still have a daughter-in-law, couldn’t she?

Looking at the figures in the distance, she felt a secret delight.

Indeed, bringing Yan Lin had been a wise decision; look how well it was going now.

“That’s because you only see the good in people. Joy can be quite pensive at tis,” Shu Pan sighed.

“Kids grow up, they’ll naturally have so secrets of their own, don’t worry. Speaking of which, where is Xiaobao?” Bai Lan looked around, having seen him just a little while ago.

“He’s probably gone off to play with his friends,” Shu Pan responded.
