Chapter 1350: Chapter 1349 Choosing a Gift

Bai Lan’s face turned red in an instant; this man was sotis really inappropriate.

Zhou Shengting had changed so much from before, he used to be quite serious and steady, but now?

Sotis he completely lacked propriety.

Bai Lan checked the ti; it was still early, and the mall hadn’t even opened yet.

She walked out of the living room and saw her son had already gotten up and was bringing breakfast out from the kitchen.

Oh, it seed she was really a bit of a failure as a mom.

“Baby, why didn’t you sleep a bit longer?” Bai Lan asked with a smile.

“Mom, I’m already 15 years old, don’t call baby anymore,” Zhou Yanlin protested with a frown.

His mom could be so girly sotis, while he seed more mature.

“No matter how old you are, in Mom’s heart, you’ll always be my baby,” Bai Lan insisted, hoping her son would act more like a teenager and not so reserved, like an old man.

“Picking on your son again?” Zhou Shengting ca over.

“Who says? How could I bear to pick on him?” Bai Lan pouted.

Zhou Yanlin saw that his dad had arrived and knew soone could handle his mom now.

“Eat breakfast, then let’s head out,” Bai Lan declared as if it were a royal decree.

Father and son hurriedly ate their food.

Around 9:30, they left the house and headed straight for the mall.

Bai Lan was already rambling in the car, “Xiaobao likes robots, that’s easy to get, but Joy is older now, I wonder what kind of gift she’d like?”

This was really a bit of a headache.

“Isn’t that simple? Buy clothes, bags, hair accessories, and the like,” Zhou Yanlin voiced from the back seat, not wanting to see his mom worry over such a small matter.

“Right, you interact with your classmates a lot, so you pick the gift for Joy,” Bai Lan suddenly clapped her hands, excitedly exclaiming.

Zhou Yanlin was taken aback, feeling as if a flock of crows had flown over his head, cawing loudly.

“Mom, I don’t understand that stuff,” Zhou Yanlin flat out refused, joking about what, a man like him, how would he know about won’s stuff?

“Humph, if you don’t know, then learn, you’ll have to marry soday,” Bai Lan instructed, feeling it necessary to cultivate her son’s emotional intelligence from a young age.

Zhou Yanlin was sowhat speechless; his mom seed a bit too anxious.

“Mom, what are you talking about? That’s not even on the horizon yet,” Zhou Yanlin said helplessly.

Bai Lan laughed.

Zhou Shengting drove, listening to their conversation, but he didn’t give his opinion; he didn’t want to say anything that might upset his wife.

He knew his wife was just joking with their son.

After reaching the mall, Zhou Shengting stayed in the car while Bai Lan and Zhou Yanlin went shopping.

Xiaobao’s gift was simple, bought at a toy store, the latest transforr robot.

Then they shopped for Joy’s gift; it was indeed difficult to buy sothing for a little girl.

As she was older, many things were about personal taste.

For the first eting gift, Bai Lan still wanted sothing unique.

Zhou Yanlin carried the gifts, shopping with her.

Suddenly, Zhou Yanlin stopped in his tracks, captivated by a necklace in a display window.

The necklace was made of white gold, with a delicate chain and a Cupid pendant.

It looked exquisite, and for so reason, Zhou Yanlin felt it was just right.

“What’s wrong?” Bai Lan asked, seeing him stop.

“Mom, let’s buy this necklace,” Zhou Yanlin said, his eyes fixed on the necklace.
