Chapter 1219: Chapter 1218: Choice Chapter 1219: Chapter 1218: Choice In fact, Gu Huanhuan’s heart couldn’t bear to part with the child either.

But now she was really in a dilemma.

She massaged her forehead, feeling very conflicted.

Ah, the timing really couldn’t be worse.

Actually, a while ago, she and Wen Chi had intentionally avoided contraception, hoping that she could conceive smoothly.

She knew her father-in-law and mother-in-law were sowhat anxious for her to have a boy, their views on preferring boys over girls were still very strong.

But she was very repelled by this mindset; she wanted a second child because she loved Wen Chi and wanted another child born of their love, irrespective of the gender.

Knowing her in-laws had these expectations, she had been very irritable, and strangely, she couldn’t get pregnant.

After quietly waiting for a while, she gradually felt better, thinking that staying at ho was sowhat boring and it might be better to find sothing to pass the ti.

Since the only skill she had was acting and there happened to be an offer from a film crew for a role she liked, she consulted with Wen Chi, then signed the contract and joined the crew.

Wen Chi had always been very supportive of her decisions because he loved her and was incredibly indulgent.

Moreover, thinking of her being at ho every day and not being able to spend ti with her, how could he possibly refuse?

So although Gu Huanhuan felt reluctant to leave her daughter, considering that her role wasn’t too demanding, she decided to go anyway.

But just on the third day after joining the crew, she started having pregnancy reactions. Initially, it was just drowsiness, which she attributed to fatigue since she hadn’t acted for a while and was not adapted to the reversed day and night schedules.

Later, she started feeling nauseous and vomiting. Having had a daughter before, she was all too familiar with these strange yet familiar sensations.

So, she secretly bought a pregnancy test, and lo and behold, she was pregnant.

Honestly, her feelings were like a jar of mixed spices had been knocked over inside her, an indescribable taste.

Thus, she took a leave from the crew and ca back ho.

To see what to do.

If she decided to keep it, it seed she would likely have to break the contract.

Because the initial reactions were so severe, she simply couldn’t continue filming normally.

Holding back the progress of the film crew was sothing she definitely didn’t want to do.

Ah, really a headache.

Shu Pan looked at her worried appearance and found it sowhat amusing, “Actually, this is sothing good, why the sad face and heavy sighs?”

Gu Huanhuan said resentfully, “Hmph, it’s all Wen Chi’s fault.”

“Alright, talk it over with him when you get back, he will definitely be overjoyed. Warn sunlight will be happy to beco a big sister, isn’t it obvious? Why are you still considering it?” Shu Pan said softly with a smile, feeling that Gu Huanhuan was overthinking it.

Gu Huanhuan snorted dismissively.

“Cheer up, I’ll have Mrs. Li make so of your favorite food, and Wen Chi will pick you up tonight.” Shu Pan looked at her and laughed, thinking how she still seed like a child.

“He doesn’t even know I’m back yet. Let have so quiet ti first, to process this,” Gu Huanhuan said sulkily.

Thinking about how that person could overturn all her plans, she felt annoyed.

“Okay, I’ll go get things ready.” Shu Pan felt there was finally so good news in the house.

Her own illness had finally been overshadowed by this joyous news.

Gu Huanhuan watched Shu Pan’s receding figure, feeling comforted. With her brother and sister-in-law around, she never felt panicked.

How wonderful.

Since Huanhuan was pregnant, and especially in the early days, Shu Pan had Mrs. Li prepare rather mild dishes.

Even without eating rice, she could eat a lot.
