Seeing Zhuangzhuang, who had hurriedly entered the Sacrificial Cave, eyes filled with sympathy.

The Clan Leader’s family had two adorable cubs that had always made the tribe mbers envious.

On the Beast World Continent, where birth rates were not high, Zhuangzhuang had suddenly beco the father of two lovely cubs, inciting envy, jealousy, and hatred in many an Orc Family.

But now, two incidents had occurred one after another to the Clan Leader’s cubs, and it was uncertain whether the Clan Leader and his mate could withstand this ordeal.

After all, the birth rate among the Tortoise Clan cubs was also not very high.

At that mont, Zhuangzhuang had already entered the depths of the Sacrificial Cave.

His footsteps were hurried, no longer as light as they had been before.

The old priest, who was sorting through herbs, instantly frowned and looked over, wondering who would be so impolite as to barge into his cave without even a notification.

The beads at the top of the cave glowed softly, and the priest’s squinted eyes widened slightly when he saw Zhuangzhuang holding Gui Baobao.

He then noticed the sadness and urgency on Zhuangzhuang’s face and felt a throb in his heart, "Zhuangzhuang, what’s wrong?"

Zhuangzhuang felt imnse sorrow and knelt before the priest, his voice choked, "Lord Priest, please look at Baobao, he snuck out to play today and ate sea creatures contaminated by the poisoned sea water."

Hearing this, the priest understood why Zhuangzhuang was so sad and didn’t even bother to reproach him for not announcing his arrival.

He took the two tearful cubs from Zhuangzhuang’s arms and laid them gently on a very worn piece of Beast Skin not far from his pond.

After a careful examination, he kindly looked at Gui Baobao who was sitting there with obedient little eyes.

"Baobao, tell Granpa Priest, do you feel unwell?"

Baobao was quite familiar with Granpa Priest, because Granpa Priest loved cubs and he and his brother often visited, hoping to get so tasty treats.

So, when the priest asked him, the little one adorably shook his head, his small voice milky, "Granpa, Baobao doesn’t feel bad."

The priest wrinkled his brow in confusion, "Does your little belly hurt?"

Tribe mbers who had mistakenly eaten sea creatures contaminated by the poisoned sea water would experience severe pain in the stomach; the more they ate, the worse the pain.

The little one raised his small claw to scratch the shell on his belly, cutely shaking his head, "It doesn’t hurt."

Bewildered, the Shaman looked at Zhuangzhuang, "Zhuangzhuang, how long has it been since Baobao returned ho?"

Zhuangzhuang quickly answered, "Lord Priest, Baobao ca back before dinner."

The priest’s face relaxed upon hearing this, "Baobao must not have eaten the creatures contaminated by the sea water, it’s been such a long ti. If he were poisoned, it would have manifested by now, not waited this long."

Upon hearing this, Zhuangzhuang’s body shook, and tears of joy stread down his face.

Baobao, seeing his father cry, quickly clambered out from the Beast Skin bedding and awkwardly crawled on his four short legs to Zhuangzhuang’s side.

"Daddy, don’t cry, here’s my Beast Skin bedding for you."

The little one’s milky voice brought Zhuangzhuang relief.

He extended a finger to tap the little one’s head, "From now on, you stay close to your Amu and don’t run around anymore, we’ve all been worried sick."

Baobao first obediently nodded, then shook his little head, "But Daddy, I’ve promised to eat so tasty food with the Shaman tomorrow."
