Suddenly, sothing ca to her mind, she turned around and ran towards the stream at the edge of the tribe.
She recalled so large pumpkins growing alongside the river were ripe, but she didn’t pick them yet, wanting to collect the seeds to plant in the tribe next year.
She forgot where she read it, but dried pumpkin seeds ground into powder and consud seed to cure roundworm disease.
The large pumpkin at the edge of the river had been gnawed away by so animal, left to literally cook in the sun, draining the moisture from the pumpkin flesh.
Ji Nuan picked up the pumpkin and returned to the open ground of the tribe. She placed the dried pumpkin seeds and pumpkin flesh in a stone bowl and quickly pounded them into a coarse powder.
She then dumped this powder into a wooden bucket next to her, filling the bucket with water before fighting her way into the crowd.
"Ji Nuan, co out quickly, be careful that those bugs get into your body!"
"Co out quickly, don’t go in!"
Seeing Ji Nuan doing this, the tribespeople quickly grabbed her. What could a young girl do against such terrifying bugs, even the Shaman didn’t have a cure!
