The next morning was unlike any other, with the sun not even having the chance to offer its wake-up call.
In the Watson Tribe, the orcs were already busy setting up tables in the square, and the females were bustling about, placing platters of fruit on different tables.
The Guard Team mbers, under Ya Li’s direction, prepared bountiful offerings.
The whole tribe was abuzz with activity.
Fu Yi and Ying Yan personally went to the city gate to welco orcs arriving from various tribes.
Chief Shi Jie, who had been prearranged by the Watson Tribe, arrived yesterday with his offspring and the Shaman, lending a hand on the square.
"Haha! We’re here, and it sure is lively today," bood the unmistakable laughter of Bear Chief.
Behind her, a dozen orcs followed, each carrying a large basket on their back, covered with big leaves, but their precious deanor instantly piqued Fu Yi and Ying Yan’s curiosity.
"Bear Chief, what are you carrying that you treasure so much?"
Bear Chief whispered, "This is a gift for Shaman Ji Nuan, I can’t show it to you just yet, hehe, I’m heading in now."
With that, she waved her hand and led her people straight through the gate.
Fu Yi and Ying Yan shook their heads in amusent, the sweet sll already giving away what it was; Bear Chief was as endearingly simple as ever.
"Father, Watson Tribe is really lively today," ng Tai comnted with a smile, observing the bustling city gate not far away.
ng Zhuo gave him a stern look: "It’s all because you, lad, insisted on picking so many Fire Seed Fruits. Otherwise, we would have arrived yesterday."
ng Tai chuckled along, following behind his father and entering the gates greeted by Fu Yi and Ying Yan.
anwhile, at the edge of the forest not far away, a group of orcs stood there, with a hunched elder seated on a giant yellow tiger, his eyes on the Watson Tribe’s city wall filled with astonishnt.
"Is that the wall you’ve been telling about, the Watson Tribe’s?" the elder’s voice trembled, filled with disbelief.
The young orc beside him humd in affirmation, "Yes, that’s the tall wall that has shielded the Watson Tribe’s orcs from the Beast Wave attacks. No matter how fierce the beasts that collide with it, they end up as nothing but pulp."
The elder sighed, "If I hadn’t witnessed such a miracle with my own eyes, I would never have believed it. It’s truly astonishing."
With that, he patted his mount, "Co on, let’s go et this miraculous Shaman Ji Nuan."
Bowman and Hei Tu exchanged glances, both letting out a sigh of relief.
Following behind their Shaman, they ran towards the Watson Tribe’s city gates.
"Fu Yi, another Orc Tribe is coming," Ying Yan noticed the group of orcs erging from the forest first.
Fu Yi furrowed his brow, "That seems to be..."
"It’s people from the Gru Tribe," Bosson’s voice rose from the side.
"Uncle!" the young orc’s cheerful voice rang out, brimming with joy.
Gazing at the familiar figure standing at the city gates, Bowman’s heart swelled with happiness; Uncle must have co to fetch him, hehe.
Bosson: Lad, is all that confidence really necessary? Today is my day for patrol duty.
