Dubi wrapped the remaining roasted Gagabeast in a Beast Skin bag, as there were no large leaves in the Land of Death, causing the Gagabeast to cool down quickly. Even though the cooled Gagabeast wasn’t as delicious as when it had just been cooked, the tempting aroma seed to have been absorbed into the at, only noticeable when one was very close.

Handing the Beast Skin package to his companion, Dubi gently kissed the female’s forehead, "I’m going to see Otto now. You all stay inside the cave and don’t go out. If you’re hungry, eat so Gagabeast from the Beast Skin bag. I’ll co back later."

The female had also heard what the Guard Orc had said and nodded gently, "You go with peace of mind, I know."

Saying this, she picked up the little offspring who had Gagabeast egg all over its face from gnawing and cuddled it in her arms. The little one licked the egg residue off its two aty paws and looked up at its father with big round eyes, "Aoo~"

Dubi’s heart lted completely, and he bent down to kiss his companion and offspring again before turning to leave the cave and running toward where Otto was.

He didn’t see that not far from him, a black snake poked its little head out of a bush, hissing and flicking its tongue as it watched him gradually move away.

The sky gradually darkened, and a thick white mist rose in the skies of the Land of Death.

The patrolling Orcs yawned tiredly, with hints of dew forming at the corners of their eyes. Chang Zao swayed in the wind, rustling, a sound that the Orcs, long used to it, didn’t notice at all.

anwhile, deep within the Tribe, in a large cave at the center, the Clan Leader of the Crocodile Orc Tribe was surrounded by nurous companions, eating the fresh food they offered him.

Namila sat on a Beast Skin mat below, looking up at the contented female above and a touch of envy surfaced in her eyes.

Being an offspring of a Clan Leader just like her, this female was going to inherit her father’s position and beco a Clan Leader of a Tribe, but her own father had never ntioned passing on the Clan Leader position to her.

"Ola, that evolved Orc has been back for such a long ti, why hasn’t he co to see you, their Clan Leader?" Namila, seemingly casual, ntioned it as she tore off a piece of tender at and threw it into her mouth.

Ola waved her hand indifferently, "He’s been away from the Tribe for so long, he’s probably missing his family, being with his companion and offspring, I guess."

Namila nodded in understanding, "It seems there is a difference between the two Tribes."

Ola frowned at her, "What’s the difference?"

Namila smiled and nodded, "My father has been Clan Leader for a very, very long ti, so he commands a lot of respect among the Tribemates. When Orcs return to the Tribe, the first thing they do is to pay their respects to my father, and then they see to their own affairs."

Upon hearing this, Ola’s face turned dark. Namila’s words, although praising her own father, were a comparison that indirectly suggested that Ola, as a Clan Leader, didn’t hold much authority.

There was no rule that females could not beco Clan Leaders within the Tribes, but the Clan Leader had to be the strongest or the most intelligent, able to lead the Tribe to a prosperous life.

And as for her position as Clan Leader...

A sinister glint flashed through Ola’s eyes—the position of Clan Leader was one that Otto, her kind elder brother, had relinquished to her.
