Seeing this terrifying Snake Beast, the Orc that was just crying for help instantly shut its mouth, as quiet as a Giggle Beast.
Ya Li gave the cowardly beast a glare, and then turned to ng Tai: "Have Shaman and Xiu Yan not returned yet?"
ng Tai shook his head: "They left later than you guys, so they’ll probably be a bit late."
Ya Li nodded, then chuckled and walked up to ng Tai, throwing his arm around his shoulder: "Co, let show you so familiar Orcs."
Delight filled ng Tai’s eyes: "You caught them?"
Ya Li gave him a side-eyed, haughty glance: "Well, of course. I am Ya Li, after all. Could these weaklings possibly escape from ?"
"ng Tai! ng Tai! Please save , I like you so much, how could you join forces with the Orcs from Watson Tribe to do this to ?" Seeing ng Tai rekindled hope in Namila’s heart. With tears clouding her vision, she gazed at the massive Orc in front of her, feeling utterly wronged.
ng Tai grinned maliciously: "You’ve always been so good to , I’ll make sure to treat you accordingly."
Ya Li rubbed his arm, tutting.
Seems like ng Tai isn’t the good guy he appears to be. Just look at that smile, it’s almost as creepy as what Shaman Ji Nuan had described.
ng Tai turned to Ya Li: "Let have my fun with Namila and this male first."
With that, he shot a very suggestive glance towards the place where a basin of water and so rags were kept.
Ya Li got excited and chuckled, moving closer: "Would you like to take care of it? After all, I’ve done this before and I’m very proficient."
ng Tai threw him a disdainful look: "Dealing with them, I have to take care of myself if I want to feel satisfied. What’s the point if you do it?"
Ya Li waved his hand dismissively: "Tribe mbers, tie these beasts to the trees for , just as the others were."
He then strolled over to the emaciated Orc: "This Orc is Namila’s evolved companion."
ng Tai chuckled: "What a coincidence, I’m an evolved Orc now too. Don’t worry, I’ll take care of him and make sure he doesn’t escape."
With that, he walked over and picked up a sturdy stick ant for starting a fire and, with a cold smirk, raised it high next to the emaciated Orc. The stick ca down with a sound of wind, its target being the Orc’s legs.
"Ah!!! Ahhhhhh!" After two crisp "snap" sounds, the deep forest echoed with the sound of the Orc’s tragic scream.
Looking at the oddly misshapen legs, Ya Li sneered: "Look what you’ve done, it’s not pretty at all, just hideously ugly."
Then, patting ng Tai on the shoulder, he said: "Don’t kill them, leave them so breath for Shaman Ji Nuan to deal with when he cos back. I’m off to eat, I’m famished."
With that, he cheerfully went over to the bonfire where the Watson Tribe’s Orcs were already roasting their prey. The mouth-watering aroma spread through the air, stimulating everyone’s appetite.
ng Tai picked up the now limp and helpless Orc and walked over to Namila who was trembling with fear. He then tied the Orc to a large tree nearby.
Then, he turned his gaze to Namila.
His cold gaze sent a chill down Namila’s spine. She started crying hysterically: "This wasn’t my idea, it was my father who told to beco your mate. He wants to take over Lamu Forest."
