With that said, Ji Nuan brought in a bowl of bitter water and lifted the small bundle onto her lap, softly coaxing, "owow, after drinking this bitter water, you can be just like us."
The unpleasant odor of the bitter water continued to waft into owow’s small nose. The little one’s black nose twitched a few tis before she disdainfully turned her head away.
Seeing this, Cat Leader let out a dismayed sigh. The lenient treatnt their little female offspring has been receiving was completely out of line. Such an important thing as the bitter water of adulthood, he had explained it to her so many tis before, yet she still couldn’t stomach the bitterness and refused to drink.
Taking two steps forward, he was about to grab the bowl and forcibly make her drink, but unexpectedly, Ji Nuan suddenly whispered sothing into the little one’s ear. Much to his surprise, the little one slowly turned her head around, opened her small mouth, her fluffy face carrying an air of resignation, and allowed Ji Nuan to pour the exceedingly bitter water into her mouth.
After drinking the bitter water, owow felt even sleepier. After letting out a small yawn, she lay sprawled on the couch and fell fast asleep.
Seeing this, all the orcs in the room let out a relieved sigh at once.
Grandma Shaman laughed and said, "Alright, everyone disperse. Tomorrow, our tribe will have one more adorable little female."
Ji Nuan curiously looked at the small bundle, "Grandma, isn’t she already transford into a small female?"
Grandma Shaman smiled and said, "Just like the Cat Beast Clan, Deer Beasts Clan and Rabbit Beasts Clan, their transformation takes a very long ti. After drinking bitter water, it may take several days for a little female orc to fully transform. All we have to do is wait."
Ji Nuan nodded her head, then looked again at the little bundle that lay fast asleep on the couch, thinking to herself: this is truly a learning experience.
Ti flew by quickly. Three days do not feel all that long, yet are not short either. With the help of Fu Yi, the newcors to the tribe had already constructed a portion of their courtyard. With assistance from the existing orcs of the tribe, the new courtyard resembled that of the other orcs, if not more intricate and beautiful due to the addition of so new designs.
Upon seeing the newly completed beautiful courtyard, the newly joined orcs were even more motivated, determined to make bricks and tiles day and night without rest.
Just then, an orc arrived at the moat outside the Watson Tribe’s city gates, looking thoroughly disheveled and extrely haggard.
The orc made no effort to hide his tracks and simply collapsed by the moat.
"Chief, there’s an orc collapsed by the moat." Upon discovering this, the orcs imdiately reported it to Ge Tai, who was in charge of patrolling that day.
Upon hearing this, Ge Tai stood up and followed the orc up onto the city wall. The collapsed orc was lying face down near the moat, so his appearance was obscured, but Ge Tai noticed a vine tied around the orc’s head.
"That is..." After a mont, his eyes lit up. The only orcs to tie vines around their heads were from the Monte Tribe.
He quickly descended from the city wall and pulled aside an orc to instruct him, "Go inform the Clan Leader and Shaman Ji Nuan. An orc from the Monte Tribe has arrived and his condition doesn’t look good."
Upon hearing this, the orc turned around and ran back to the tribe.
"Open the city gates, lower the bridge." Leading a small squad of orcs, they rushed out.
Approaching the unconscious orc with caution, Ge Tai used a wooden stick to roll the orc over, "It’s ng Tai!"
The familiar face, if it wasn’t ng Tai, who else could it be?
He imdiately tossed the stick away, cleared his throat, bent down and picked up ng Tai, "Return to the tribe."
