Ya Li nodded, watching the clan leaders walk away.
The prestigious Cat Orc standing beside him, who had been aloof just monts ago, suddenly changed his deanor and flopped down onto the beast skin cushion, spreading out into a cat pancake.
"Oh, Amu~ I’m so exhausted."
He panted heavily, rolling his eyes back, which alard the chiefs of the two dium-sized tribes nearby. They were afraid that the ssenger orc who had been next to Shaman Ji Nuan would suddenly drop dead.
Anxious, they got up, their movents erratic, "Are you alright? Would you like sothing to eat?"
Ya Li glanced at the Cat Beast, scoffed, then said to his uncle, "Uncle, don’t mind him. He’s just pretending to be pitiful."

But under Ya Li’s penetrating gaze, the Cat Beast quietly lay there, licking his own paw. He decided to behave in the face of this detestable Snake Beast who, for so reason, didn’t like cats. Otherwise, he’d likely be obliterated on a whim.
Noticing the Cat Beast’s look, Ya Li shot him a vicious glare, causing the Cat Beast to be scared witless, his fur standing on end.
"ow!" After a short yowl, he scampered away to the outside of the cave.
"Well...you just scared him off like that, is that really okay?" the orc asked.
Ya Li picked at his nails, "Don’t worry. He’s nearby. When it’s ti to send a ssage, he’ll show up."
The orc nodded, "Was Shaman Ji Nuan telling the truth today? Does our tribe really not need that many orcs?"
Ya Li chuckled, "Uncle, think about it. Our Watson Tribe has beco the most powerful tribe in the Eneru Forest. The mbers of our tribe have been with us since we started out small, and grew with us. Their loyalty is unquestionable.
But we know very little about the remaining tribes. Who knows what kind of unsavory characters might be among them? This would be ti-consuming to manage and a complete hassle. Why go looking for trouble? So, it’s definitely easier to manage with fewer mbers."
The orc was taken aback when he heard this. He had not thought about it from this perspective. In their minds, the more mbers there are in a tribe, the stronger the tribe, right?
Seeing his uncle’s confused expression, Ya Li smirked, "Take food for example. If we accept fewer tribes, each mber can get a large share of food. But if we accept more, each mber will get less.
So limiting the number of orcs joining the tribe ensures that our mbers will have ample food, perhaps even more than enough. Do you understand?"
When it ca to the sensitive topic of food, the orc imdiately grasped the logic and nodded eagerly, "So the fewer the tribes we accept, the better. That way, we’ll get more food?"
Ya Li gave a aningful smile, "Exactly. That’s how Shaman Ji Nuan sees it too."(Ji Nuan: I’m gonna smash your head in. Who told you that’s what I think? Twisting my words, off with your head for five minutes.)While they were having this conversation, Ya Li noticed from the corner of his eye that a lurking figure who had been eavesdropping outside the cave disappeared. A triumphant smile appeared at the corner of his mouth.
