When Ji Nuan entered, seeing the middle-aged tree person he hadn’t seen for a long ti, he was quite surprised: "I didn’t expect that it would be you who ca."
The middle-aged tree person rose respectfully and saluted Ji Nuan.
He was very excited: "Haha, you may not be aware, but to get to co to the Watson Tribe, us ssengers had quite a long struggle. But in the end, I won this opportunity, hahaha!"
He was extrely triumphant.
Ji Nuan sat in a chair to one side and curiously asked, "Is there a special reason for coming at this ti?"
The middle-aged tree person nodded: "Although this disaster did not affect us Divine Wood Tree people, many Orcs from the Orc Clan have died. After consultation with our Elder, the Clan Leader decided to host a trade conference at Kunteng Mountain, mainly trading Divine Wood Tree Branches and Leaves. If Shaman Ji Nuan and the other Clan Leaders have ti, you are welco to attend."
Ji Nuan nodded: "This disaster was mitigated thanks to the treatnt provided by the Divine Wood Tree People’s branches and leaves, saving many Orcs from suffering. Our tribe did not participate in the last trade conference, so this ti I will take our tribe mbers to attend and exchange for so Divine Wood Powder."
The middle-aged tree person was delighted, rubbing his hands together in glee.
"Do you know when this trade conference will take place?"
The middle-aged tree person slapped his forehead: "I actually forgot to ntion such an important matter. The trade conference will be held in half a month. I may need to stay in the Watson Tribe for a while. I am responsible for this trade conference, and when the ti cos, I will lead your tribe to the trade location in Kunteng Forest."
Ji Nuan was very grateful for the thoughtfulness of the Divine Wood Tree people: "That’s great, I also have good news to share with your tribe in advance."
The middle-aged tree person’s eyes lit up: "Is it about the insects..."
Ji Nuan nodded.
Chief Ge Xing, being very astute, quickly waved his hand: "Then Shaman Ji Nuan, please lead the ssenger on your way first. The rest of us can discuss the remaining matters."
On the way to Ji Nuan’s courtyard, the middle-aged tree person said sowhat nervously, "Shaman Ji Nuan, you probably don’t know my na. I’m Mu Qing."
Feeling helpless, Ji Nuan admitted he really didn’t know the man’s na, and responded with a smile: "Elder Mu Qing?"
Mu Qing was sowhat taken aback and quickly waved his hands: "Haha, just call Mu Qing. If the old Clan Leader knew you were calling Elder, he would surely strip the bark off my tree."
Following behind, Ya Li rolled his eyes, finding this man who could beco an Elder to be thick-skinned indeed.
Outside Ji Nuan’s courtyard, two Orcs dressed identically were standing guard, their postures rigid with attentiveness, making any beast unconsciously straighten their backs in response.
Mu Qing’s pupils shimred, marvelling at the vigor of these Orcs.
Upon seeing Ji Nuan approach, the two Orcs simultaneously raised their fists to their chests, after which the Orc on the left stepped forward to open the door, then stepped back to stand at attention. Mu Qing watched in astonishnt, envious of such discipline amongst the tribesn.
After guiding Mu Qing to sit down in a pavilion within the courtyard, Ya Li carried so fruit from the house and put it on the table, then stood by Ji Nuan’s side.
Ji Nuan brought out a small porcelain bottle from the storeroom. After sitting down, he carefully opened the bottle and poured a deep-red pill onto a large leaf, pushing it in front of Mu Qing: "Take a look at this."
