A cunning gleam flashed in his eyes, the corners of his lips curling up in a wickedly charming smile, a faint trace of amusent in his gaze. The entire beast seed to transform, fascinating the little pup who had been feigning innocence on his arm. The pup’s eyes were sparkling, drooling enough to dampen the white fluff around her mouth. She even had the decency to raise her paw to wipe away the drool about to fall on Ya Li’s arm.
ng Tai and his beasts evidently spotted this flirtatious kitten’s antics.
Ya Li raised an eyebrow at ng Tai’s trio: "Well, you see? She’s the one drooling over my good looks."
ng Tai’s beasts twitched their lips, looking at Ya Li with even more disdain: "Didn’t expect you to stoop so low as to rely on your looks to get a mate. Shaless!"

Looking at the beasts’ envious gazes, Ya Li’s determination vanished. He tucked the pup into his arms and smirked smugly, "Hehe, you guys don’t even have the looks to pull this off."
Shaman Ji Nuan laughed as she watched Ya Li stuff the pup into his chest, leaving only a small fluffy head visible, "So? Not sending her back?"
Upon hearing Ji Nuan’s lethal question, the pup imdiately raised her head and looked at Ya Li anxiously, owing pitifully.
With a sigh of resignation, Ya Li said, "Who knows when we’ll be able to send her back? Let her stay with you when danger cos, after all, I can’t fly."
Ji Nuan nodded: "Alright, ow ow is quite small after all."
Xiu Yan, who stood aside, raised an eyebrow: "You guys sure are unceremonious. What about asking the opinion of this winged creature?"
Ji Nuan poked his arm, grinning cheekily: "As magnanimous as you are, you surely wouldn’t mind."
Xiu Yan gave her a half-smiling glance and smirked, keeping silent as a sign of agreent.
This made both Ji Nuan and Ya Li breathe a sigh of relief.
Turning towards the three orcs, Xiu Yan suggested: "Let’s catch so food first. There doesn’t seem to be much prey ahead."
Looking at the forthcoming area filled densely with rocks and devoid of any vegetation, all the beasts nodded, it definitely didn’t seem like there were any preys.
Although they had so jerked at in their bags, there wasn’t much. They didn’t know how much ti it would take to traverse this area, better save it for when there’s no food.
All of the orcs were seasoned hunters. In no ti, each of them returned with prey in hand. They started a fire to roast the at, leaving Ji Nuan, Ya Li, and the pup yawning out of boredom.
"Shaman Ji Nuan, are you planning to stay at Lamu Mountain Forest for a while this ti? Or are you planning to return after dropping us off?" ng Tai asked, glancing back at Ji Nuan, who was yawning with teary eyes while he roasted the at.
Caught off guard by the question, all of Ji Nuan’s sleepiness suddenly vanished, she tilted her head and thought for a mont before replying: "We’ll see what’s there first. If the Lamu Forest has unique plants and animals, we might stay for a while."
The pup, happily gnawing at a fragrant piece of roasted at nearby, looked up with wide excited eyes at Ji Nuan’s words. She nodded her tiny head urgently - hardly the size of an orc’s fist. Enthusiastically she ow-owed in agreent.
