When she finally spotted ng Tai and several other orcs, Ji Nuan let out a sigh of relief. She took out a few small porcelain vials filled with dicinal powder from her beast skin pouch and handed them over to Ya Li, Fu Yi, and the other orcs. "Take these powders with you, sprinkle them on ng Tai and the rest when you get close, and the Ice Vines will release them," she said.

Ji Nuan, along with the remaining orcs, stood in place and watched as the captives were freed.

Finally free from the intimidations of the creature, ng Tai, standing not far from Ji Nuan, bead brightly, "Shaman Ji Nuan, you’ve saved again."

Xiu Yan, looking at the orc’s enthusiastic smile, frowned, picked up Ji Nuan, and began running outwards. His voice slowly fading in the cold wind, "Enough with the chit chat, let’s get out of here already."

ng Tai let out a laugh, and accepted a piece of Ice Vine given to him by Ya Li, then followed the other Orcs. The remaining Orcs continued to grip their porcelain vials, occasionally sprinkling so of the powder on themselves.

Ya Li glanced at ng Tai and warned, "Don’t tell any other orcs."

ng Tai nodded seriously, holding the Ice Vine in his hand and glancing at the small porcelain vials held by other tribesn.

Running, Xiu Yan suddenly stopped, a frown on his face as he sniffed the air.

Ji Nuan looked at him curiously, "What’s wrong?"

Xiu Yan glanced at her, "I sll a strong scent of blood."

"Blood? Could it be an orc has been caught up by the vines?" Ji Nuan said in surprise. But, they had been cautious about entering the forest.

Xiu Yan shook his head, "Can’t be sure yet, want to go and check?"

The other orcs behind them, including Ge Xing, also caught the scent of blood. "Let’s go see, if we can still save the orc, it would be worth it," Ge Xing suggested.

Ji Nuan nodded her agreent. After all they were already in there anyway.

Switching directions, the group started running towards the source of the blood scent.

After running for a while, ng Tai’s face turned strange. Ya Li looked at him, "What’s wrong?"

After so silence, ng Tai finally spoke, "If we keep going this way we’ll end up behind our tribal settlent."

An idea sparked in Ya Li’s eyes, "We’ll know once we get there."

Whether it was a plot or sothing else...

"There’s blood everywhere!" The orcs’ gasps of surprise rang out from up ahead.

ng Tai’s face fell as he quickened his pace toward the blood-soaked snow, "A beast has been slaughtered and discarded here."

Ya Li pursed his lips, "Which way to the settlent? Let’s go check."

ng Tai nodded, then began running towards the settlent, while Ji Nuan and the rest of the orcs, exchanging aningful glances, followed suit feeling a sense of foreboding.

Just as expected, the bloodstains seed strategically placed, clearly, it was the doing of so beast.

"The Ice Vines were deliberately lured here by a beast." ng Tai spat out the words with loathing.

Fu Yi muttered under his breath, "What kind of grudge or vendetta does the beast have against the Monte Tribe? Luring so many Ice Vines here is like trying to wipe out the entire tribe."

Bosson nudged Fu Yi, gesturing in ng Tai’s direction and whispered, "Shut your trap."

Fu Yi glared at him montarily before reluctantly closing his mouth.

Ji Nuan looked around, "This is the most inner part of the tribe. Which tribe could’ve made it in here?"
