"Eh? What’s going on? Why is the ground starting to shake?" So of the stronger Orcs had already noticed the ground tremor.
Ge Xing and Ya Li had already reached Chief ng Zhuo’s side. The increasingly evident shaking was making their faces very solemn.
"ng Zhuo, stop the competition for now. Sothing’s not quite right; the ground is shaking abnormally. It’s better to let the Orcs leave here first," said Ge Xing, grabbing ng Zhuo’s arm urgently.
ng Zhuo patted Ge Xing’s hand with a smile and said, "Is it because the Orcs’ fighting is too intense? This area has been marked by the Divine Tree Clan, there shouldn’t be anything wrong."
But Ge Xing abruptly pulled him up and said, "I’m certainly not joking. So evolved Orcs have already felt the shaking and have run away. We need to get moving, quickly!"
Seeing that Ge Xing was not joking, ng Zhuo finally took the situation seriously and hurriedly summoned ng Tai: "Quickly notify our tribe. The competition is temporarily paused. Everyone needs to head out of the encampnt as quickly as possible."
ng Tai, who had noticed the commotion in the Watson tribe, did not ask any questions. He turned and began to notify his tribe mbers.
"Father, there are so tribesn inspecting the camp. I will call them." After ng Tai said this, he turned and ran back into the encampnt.
ng Zhuo watched his son run into the camp with a great sense of urgency in his heart.
Ya Li gave them a glance, intending to follow, but was held back by Chief Ge Xing who gave him an almost imperceptible shake of his head.
Rembering Ji Nuan’s words, Ya Li stopped and turned to follow Ge Xing and ng Zhuo as they fled the camp.
Over ti, the ground shaking was no longer unnoticed. The magnitude was even enough to alert several Orc tribes on Beast God Mountain.
Outside the tents, ng Tai encountered tribesn who were already fleeing. He guided them to safety, and in passing, told them that the other mbers of the tribe had already begun to evacuate.
"Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!" The sounds of sothing cutting through the air rang out behind ng Tai and the others. ng Tai turned around and a look of terror spread over his face. The Orcs at his side went deathly pale and shouted, "Ice Vines! Ice Vines! So many Ice Vines!"
No sooner had the Orc’s words fallen than the flying Ice Vines, as if they had locked onto their targets, lashed at them with their vine arms. The sky full of vine shadows gave ng Tai and his company no chance to dodge or resist. There was simply no escape; all they could do was to succumb to the swaying vines, which wrapped around their bodies and dragged them away.
"ng Tai!!!" Outside the camp, ng Zhuo saw his son being wrapped and dragged away by the vine. He roared and was about to rush forward when he was held back by a tribesman at his side.
"Clan Leader, it’s hopeless if you go now. ng Tai has already been taken away. Anyone who tries to save him will suffer the sa fate. There’s really nothing we can do! We should quickly go and seek the help of the Divine Tree Clan instead," the Orc holding ng Zhuo advised loudly.
ng Zhuo roared with red-rimd eyes, "By the ti the Divine Tree Clan arrives, ng Tai and the others may have already been digested by these damned vines."
Ge Xing and Ji Nuan exchanged glances. Ever since they climbed onto Beast God Mountain, the Orcs of the Watson Tribe had been carrying the stems of Ice Vine on their bodies without ever removing them, so they had no worries about being attacked by the vine.
