At the encampnt of the Dashi Tribe, ng Tai, Shi Jie, Bear, and Ge Xing were standing at the very front of the line.

Both Shi Jie and Bear ticulously checked the items that they were planning to bring for the exchange. anwhile, Ge Xing gleefully stood around humming an unknown tune, soaking in the sunlight. It was an exceedingly pleasant sight.

ng Tai approached the side of the Watson Tribe and smiled at Ji Nuan. "Has the shaman thought of any thods to treat the creature infestation of the Divine Wood Tree’s people?" he asked.

Ji Nuan bitterly laughed in response. "It’s not as simple as you think. As you’ve said, the Divine Wood people are immune to herbs. Even using herbal powder will be futile."

ng Tai saw the sincerity in her appearance and beca sowhat disappointed. "So it really is difficult, huh?"

Ji Nuan nodded her head. "We’ll have to see. If any of the tree people can withstand the pain, I can perform a surgery to remove the creatures infesting them."

ng Tai could only nod in response.

Once the Dashi Tribe and the Gray Bear Tribe were done tallying their items, the massive party finally set off for Beast God Mountain.

The air in the forest was hot and humid, so the mbers of the party were drenched in sweat. That made them very uncomfortable. Since it was the ti of day when poisonous creatures were most active, Ji Nuan was on edge throughout the journey.

She ended up retrieving a small bottle from the beast skin pouch by her side, and started to apply its contents on her body.

"Huh? Why did all these bugs run away?"

"Isn’t it bad if they’ve run away? Look at my face, it’s almost destroyed by the bites."

"There’s no difference whether you’re ruined or not, anyway!"

"Get lost!"

"Hehe!"

With the absence of bugs, the pace of the journey was more than doubled.

As the sky began to darken, the clan leader Shi Jie led the Beastn to a vacant mountaintop. "This is where the Fire Seed Fruit grows. There are no other plants, no poisonous insects. We can rest here."

Having said that, he raised his voice and pointed towards the reddish forest in the distance. "Upfront lies the Fire Seed Forest. Everyone, please refrain from entering. Touching the Fire Seed Fruit will cause your body to catch fire."

On hearing this, Ji Nuan’s eyes widened. She turned to Xiu Yan excitedly. "Will you really catch fire if you touch this fruit? Can’t we just take a few to Beast God Mountain and easily start a fire?"

The Beastn, who were munching on their fruits, choked on Ji Nuan’s words. Everyone held their laughter until their faces turned bright red.

Upon seeing their reactions, Ji Nuan knew she had definitely misunderstood sothing. She huffily glared at them, turned her head back to Xiu Yan, and asked, "What did Chief Shi Jie an by ’catching fire’?"

Xiu Yan chuckled and gently patted her little head. "Touching the Fire Seed Fruit gives unbearable pain, almost like being burnt by a fire seed. Beastn have died in the past due to this experience, so it is indeed an extrely dangerous fruit."

Ji Nuan’s eyes sparkled as she looked at the forest not far away. "Brother Xiu Yan, let’s go there. I want to pick so of these fruits."

Xiu Yan’s eyebrows knitted together. His good-looking lips were pursed, reflecting a serious expression. "Nuannuan, it’s dangerous."

Ji Nuan shot him a mysterious smile. Standing up, she drew out a ceramic bottle as tall as her forearm from the bamboo basket next to him. She then put on a pair of black gloves pulled out from her small waist pouch. "Let’s go!"
