"Winter clothes? Made with this cotton?" Song Yu exclaid in surprise. He had seen the cotton which was lightweight. Could it really keep warm?
Ji Nuan replied with a smile, "You might not get it now, but when I’m done making it, you guys can try it on. You’ll understand then." His smile brimd with confidence.
Song Yu nodded.
Ji Nuan glanced at the two beasts still sleeping soundly like piglets, then turned to Song Yu. "I should head back."
Song Yu nodded, "Little Ye Zi will probably co looking for you once she wakes up."
Ji Nuan looked back at Ge Ye, who was snoring lightly. "She’s still as unpredictable as ever."
With that, Ji waved his hand, turned, and walked back to his tent. Seeing how peacefully Ge Ye and the others slept, Ji Nuan soon felt sleepy himself. He crawled into his warm bed and fell asleep shortly thereafter.

anwhile, Xiu Yan and the others had gone to the forest’s edge and hunted a beast. It wasn’t until they carried the beast to the place where the tribesn were gathering clay that they collected a basketful of cotton, using the thod Ji Nuan had taught them.
Suddenly, off in the distance, the sound of wings flapping could be heard. Xiu Yan looked up, squinting his eyes in confusion.

"Isn’t that the orc you once captured, Xiu Yan?" Ying Yan’s eyes shone. He had instantly recognized Ying Da.
Xiu Yan glanced at him. "Yep, your brother."
Ying Yan huffed, "What brother! We, Eagle Orcs, all have nas starting with eagle. I am not his brother!" He sounded quite disdainful.
Ying Da, who had just landed next to them, imdiately picked up on Ying Yan’s harsh words, which left him displeased. "I don’t want to be your brother either, hmph!"
Ignoring the embarrassed Ying Yan, Ying Da went straight to Xiu Yan. "Chief Bear and Chief Shi Jie have ordered to go to the Watson tribe to warn you guys. The other two major tribes are planning to take over your land.
Though I do not know what they will do, I ca here to warn you to be careful."
Xiu Yan nodded, "Thank you, chiefs. I will inform our leader about this when I return. You should head back now, it’ll be dangerous if you stay out too late."
Ying Da was surprised at the friendly attitude of the orc who had once knocked him out.
He scratched his head and laughed awkwardly, "Alright, I’m going then. You guys be careful too."
As Xiu Yan watched Ying Da diminishing into the distance, he glanced at Ying Yan, with a teasing glimr in his eyes, "How does it feel to have your badmouthing heard?"
Then, he started to fly back towards the tribe, with the others trailing behind him.
Ying Yan grumbled under his breath, "Ever since Xiu Yan started to hang out with Ji Nuan, he’s beco increasingly sharp-tongued."
The two brothers next to him leaned in , "So brother, are you saying Ji Nuan taught Xiu Yan to be so biting?"
Ying Yan: ...
Seeing this, Xiu Yan who was ahead, turned and cast a nacing look at Ying Yan, making his heart sink.
You guys are truly my brothers! Just like they say ’a pitfall of a father’, this is you guys leaving your brother in the lurch!
If Xiu Yan challenges to a fight later, do you two think you will be able to escape?
