Although Ji Nuan was no longer around to help, Ya Li still managed to establish the planned bases. Since the bases on the large oases only required a wall to be built around the cave, compared to this base, the speed was more than doubled.

The orc issue that worried Ji Nuan the most was resolved after hearing news from the Southern Continent and the East Continent.

After the cold season, many small and dium tribes couldn’t survive, so so traded their tribe mbers to larger tribes to work as slave beasts in exchange for enough food to last through the hot season.

The bases on the East Continent and the Southern Continent didn’t lack orcs, so they transported these slave beasts via Ferocious Crocodiles to the Desert Continent, ensuring that every desert base had enough orcs to hold down the fort.

The desert base closest to the mountains began construction under the leadership of Bowman and his tribe mbers.

The first thing the Watson Tribe did after establishing a base at the Mogor Tribe was to purchase Bactrian cals from them.

In the desert, Bactrian cals were essential for carrying large amounts of goods.

At this mont in Ji Nuan and Xiu Yan’s bedroom, Ji Nuan was revising a textbook she had recently written.

Xiu Yan had transford into his normal beast form, lazily lying beside Ji Nuan, while the fluffy little furball eagerly reached out a paw now and then to scratch at Xiu Yan’s furry big tail.

Although the Silver Wolf’s tail didn’t like being scratched, Xiu Yan resigned himself to playing gas with the mischievous little cub to avoid disturbing Ji Nuan.

Whenever the little cub reached out to grab the tail, Xiu Yan would promptly flick his furry tail to the other side, which made the little furball excited at the prospect of chasing a runaway toy.

Little Pipi squatted, chubby and plump, then let out a childish roar before waddling again toward his daddy’s tail with chubby little legs.

The father and son continued their ga of flick and chase, flick and chase...

Even though the little one rarely caught his dad’s tail, it didn’t dampen his enthusiasm. The only sounds in the room were Ji Nuan writing and the little cub’s playful howls.

Xiu Yan flicked his tail out of boredom, making the little one stumble, and then he sat down on the heated platform, watching his own dad in puzzlent, not understanding why he had stopped playing.

Waddling over with his chubby short legs: "Awoo awoo~"

His small voice was adorably babyish.

Unfortunately, Xiu Yan was destined to disappoint the little guy as he lay down on the warm platform and started snoring.

The little cub called out to him several tis but received no response; the big tail he dearly missed was now quietly lying by the side.

The little one clumsily stepped over his dad’s body and crawled to Ji Nuan’s side, nudged his chubby little bottom for a comfortable spot, and soon closed his eyes to join in on the baby snores.

Ji Nuan put down her book, looked at the father and son, snoring soundly, and shook her head in amusent.

She picked up the little furball beside her and placed it next to Xiu Yan, the little guy nestling his chubby little bottom into Xiu Yan’s belly to sleep.

The first batch of trade goods from the Watson Tribe was also transported by the Ferocious Crocodiles to the bases on each continent, and the exchanges were held enthusiastically.
