The two orcs who often saw the shaman were quite natural, but several clan leaders from the middle-ranked tribes suffered, one by one kneeling down with a thud, paying their respects: "Greetings, Lord Shaman."

Their tiny voices trembled, truly heart-wrenching for the orc.

Ji Nuan chuckled and lifted a hand slightly: "Please rise, clan leaders."

She turned to Geni: "Have the tribespeople bring so food over, these orcs probably haven’t eaten yet."

After Geni instructed the orcs beside her, under Ji Nuan’s orders, Hei Man and the clan leaders were seated.

Ji Nuan took the aromatic roast at handed over by Xiu Yan and glanced towards Hei Man: "Geni just ntioned that your tribe, due to battles with another mountain forest, needs our tribe’s orcs to assist you?"

Sweat instantly appeared on Hei Man’s forehead, his smile awkward: "Lord Shaman, we only ca to seek your tribe’s opinion. If you don’t wish to join, we certainly wouldn’t insist."

Ji Nuan nodded: "So that’s how it is."

She said this, then looked at Geni with mild amusent: "See, Clan Leader Hei Man said it himself, if we don’t want to, they won’t force us."

Having said that, her gaze directly fell on the orc sitting beside Geni with a worried expression: "I wonder how the clan leader has considered the matter I ntioned before about sending orcs to participate in construction?"

Ji Nuan’s expression looked a bit unpleasant, as if she was sowhat angry.

This instantly brought a chill to the previously warm atmosphere.

The middle-aged orc, seeing Ji Nuan’s displeased gaze, stuttered: "I... I... our tribe..."

This wasn’t what it was like earlier, Shaman Ji Nuan was so amiable with him earlier, why the sudden change? Life as an orc is too hard.

He looked blankly towards Clan Leader Hei Man beside him.

Receiving his gaze, Hei Man’s scalp tingled slightly, and he quickly distanced himself: "Since your tribe wants to participate in the construction, forget about the battle, we will seek other tribes."

Damn it, the shaman is asking you, why are you looking at ? Making it seem as if I’m preventing you from going.

Ji Nuan’s gaze didn’t move away, and the orc could only pale and nod: "We... we will participate..."

His mind was now a ss; he didn’t even know what he was committing to.

The orcs brought over the food, and after finishing a sumptuous al of roasted at, Hei Man left with the hunting team leader and so middle-ranked clan leaders.

Watching them leave, Ji Nuan finally turned her gaze to the clan leader of the middle-ranked tribe, who still appeared sowhat panicked: "Has the clan leader not recovered yet?"

The orc’s body trembled, and he directly knelt towards Ji Nuan: "Lord Shaman, did I... did I do sothing wrong? I know nothing about construction."

As he knelt, his trembling explanation fell right into Hei Man’s eyes as he turned to leave. A mix of sympathy and schadenfreude crossed his gaze before he walked away.

The shaman is the most fearso of orcs; each shaman’s thoughts are unpredictable. This unfortunate orc actually angering a shaman, huh~

"They’ve already left..."

Xiu Yan’s cool voice sounded, and Ji Nuan collapsed against him as if boneless.

"Alright, stand up. Hei Man has left."
