Early the next morning, Ji Nuan lay on the vines, watching the orcs pant and puff below her, and then gazing at the seemingly endless high mountain in the distance.

Her delicate brows furrowed into knots; it made her wonder why she hadn’t asked how long it would take to climb Beast God Mountain yesterday.

Moreover, as a weak little female, it didn’t seem right for her to be climbing up together with the orcs, did it?

After giving herself a series of ntal pep talks like the above, Ji Nuan finally felt justified in summoning Xiu Yan: "Brother Xiu Yan, I don’t want to climb anymore."

The orc who had been flying by her side chuckled softly, and with a sweep of his long arm, he gently pulled her into his embrace.

"Nigel, Brother Xiu Yan and I will go up first to scatter the antidote powder for poisonous insects and snakes, you all climb up as quickly as you can."

Ji Nuan’s voice ca from above, sounding like a heavenly tune to the orcs of the Alonzo Tribe, who collectively cheered.

Watching the silhouettes of Xiu Yan and Shaman Ji Nuan disappear from view, Adong felt a rush of excitent; it seed like this big transaction this ti would greatly reduce the losses for their orcs.

"Tribesn, charge upwards!" Adong, who was always popular among the tribe, shouted loudly, leading the rapid advance towards the mountain peak.

The orcs behind him let out howling calls, speeding up by more than a bit.

After flying for roughly half an hour, Ji Nuan and Xiu Yan finally arrived at Beast God Mountain, and at that mont, a yellow leaf flew towards them.

Ji Nuan initially intended to wave it away casually but was sidestepped by Xiu Yan.

And that yellow leaf once again "drifted towards" the two of them.

Ji Nuan then realized that this thing was probably not just a simple leaf; after all, which household’s leaf could change direction like this?

Indeed, after chasing them a few tis, the leaf finally revealed its true form: a pair of pale yellow wings unfolded behind it, covered in fine long fuzz, while its nurous legs moved continuously, almost as if it were crawling in the sky.

Once again speeding up and charging towards them.

Ji Nuan instantly got angry; it was choosing to ignore the peaceful option in favor of a troubleso one.

She took out the segnted tree jar from behind, grabbed a handful of powder, and scattered it towards the insect’s face.

What a painful realization~ This is my final enlightennt~

If the insect had thoughts, it would surely sing these lyrics.

It turned out that even the Long-eared Beast could bite insects in its frenzy; previously, it had always been bullied by these critters, but this ti they brought such potent stuff. It was utterly stunned.

Dazed and reeling for a while, its wings stiffened before it began to fall.

With quick reflexes, Ji Nuan scooped it up using her small basket on hand: "Very good experintal material."

"Seems like we need to fly higher; otherwise, these creatures will easily spot us."

Xiu Yan glanced at the nearby yellow forest, his face serious.

Ji Nuan nodded: "Hmm."

The two retreated to a farther distance, flew up for a while, and then slowly approached the forest atop Beast God Mountain, gently starting their descent.

While descending, Ji Nuan scattered the powder from her hand.

The once beautifully serene ground instantly began to churn, and countless yellow fallen leaves started to move.

Before long, so of those leaves remained there but no longer moved.

More of them surged away like yellow leaf waves.
