After feeding the twin-horned beasts, the young orc and the old Shaman quickly returned to the cave. The longer they stayed outside, the greater the risks.

Early the next morning, the young orc led his tribesn, riding the twin-horned beasts out, accompanied by Harvey’s Hunting Squad.

Ji Nuan, anwhile, continued treating the orcs of the Sahara Tribe.

It was not until the afternoon that the two groups of orcs returned to the tribe. Hearing the commotion, Ji Nuan put on her cotton clothing and stepped out of the cave.

The young orc led the twin-horned beasts straight to the entrance of Maomao’s cave.

"What’s this?"

Ji Nuan looked at the fluffy warm white objects on the backs of the twin-horned beasts with surprise. It seed to be so kind of plant.

The young orc scratched his head sheepishly: "Shaman, this is sand grass. During the cold season, it turns white and serves as food for the twin-horned beasts. In the cold season, we search for it to feed them."

Ji Nuan plucked a tuft of sand grass, chewed it thoughtfully, then raised her eyebrows in surprise.

Who would’ve thought that sand grass had a faint sweetness when chewed?

"Where can I find this sand grass?"

The young orc pointed to the ground beneath their feet: "If it hasn’t snowed, it can be found just one finger-depth under the sand.

If it has snowed, you just need to clear away the snow to find it."

The young orc opened the stone door to Maomao’s cave, and the tribesn moved the sand grass from the twin-horned beasts’ backs into the cave.

Leaving so for himself, he bid farewell to Ji Nuan and led the twin-horned beasts back.

In the days that followed, word spread that the Clan Leader of the Mogor Tribe had healed and regained consciousness.

Then, after staying a few more days in the Sahara Tribe, the group of orcs bid farewell to the old Shaman and Chief Hasa before embarking on their journey back to their tribe.

After nearly a month, Ji Nuan finally finished treating all the injured orcs in the Sahara Tribe.

Now, only three orcs remained in the nearby cave to recover, while Ji Nuan’s thoughts shifted back to the sand grass the young orc had brought earlier.

Using sand grass, she managed to fashion so sort of cotton clothing. However, to her dismay, what looked like a thick garnt turned out to let the wind through everywhere when worn.

Just as Ji Nuan pushed open the stone door, she imdiately darted back into the cave.

Shivering, Ji Nuan sucked in a sharp breath. That biting chill felt like standing out in the winter winds wearing nothing more than a thin beast skin garnt.

"What happened?" Xiu Yan, who had been practicing writing, looked over upon hearing the commotion, noticing that she was already seated by the fire, warming herself.

Ji Nuan tugged on her clothing: "This sand grass seems sturdy, but it doesn’t keep you warm at all. It lets the wind in from every direction—I nearly froze to death just now."

After speaking, she felt sowhat warr and hurriedly went inside to change back into her real cotton clothing.

"Now, this is proper cotton clothing."

Amused by her antics, Xiu Yan stood up, walked over to her side, and pulled her into his arms: "I should’ve been the one to test it just now."

Ji Nuan pouted: "But it was made for —you couldn’t even fit into it."

Xiu Yan froze, glancing over at the garnt tossed onto the kang.

True. It wasn’t sothing he could handle.

"Shaman Ji Nuan?" A knock ca from the cave door, accompanied by Awa’s voice from outside.

Ji Nuan withdrew from Xiu Yan’s arms and sat by the fire: "Co in."
