Harry thought about their current situation and stopped trying to show off. He followed Casa and started learning together.
After Xiu Yan finished setting up the tent, the two Orcs asked so questions they didn’t understand, and then they started to set up their own tent not far from Ji Nuan and the others.
It turned out that Orcs were quite good at learning and doing things. Despite so hiccups along the way, the result was pleasant—the tent was successfully set up.
The food for Ji Nuan and Xiu Yan was all personally made by Xiu Yan, but Harry and his group didn’t enjoy such lovely treatnt. They had too much pride to impose any further requests.
Xiu Yan tossed half a Humming Beast to them and gave them so fruit, then he walked over to a Cal, took out a simple stove with a warm and pleasant color from its basket.
Upon seeing Xiu Yan take out this never-before-used item, Ji Nuan ran over with a chuckle, "See, wasn’t it right for to insist that you bring this along?"
Xiu Yan glanced at the smug little female and nodded internally. Indeed, it was put to good use.
There were no stones in the desert, and building a simple stove was impossible. Thankfully, Ji Nuan had insisted that Xiu Yan bring this stove, otherwise they could hardly have a warm bite here.
Xiu Yan raised his hand to pat his little partner’s head, but seeing the dust on his own hand, he silently withdrew it.
"Go feed Maomao and the others so food," he said.
Ji Nuan was montarily startled, then turned to look at the hungry Cals who had already ford a circle, basking in the sun while chewing their cud.
Nodding her head, Ji Nuan got up and went over to a Cal, unloading a basket filled with nutrient-poor Cacti.
Then, with a push, she emptied the Cacti out of the basket.
Seeing the food, Maomao was the fastest runner, coming over to Ji Nuan in a jiffy. It rubbed against Ji Nuan affectionately before lowering its head to munch eagerly.
On the other side, Harry and Casa were dividing the Humming Beast at Xiu Yan gave them, while being distracted by the interaction between Ji Nuan and the large beasts.
Seeing how gentle the big beasts were, they were extrely shocked.
They had not encountered such large beasts on their journey; otherwise, those would have ended up in their bellies long ago.
However, they had seen such plants—the ones they ca across were quite small, only as tall as Tuya’s waist, and they also contained so juice.
Although the juice wasn’t poisonous, it tasted... really not so great, astringent and bitter. It was incredibly hard to drink.
But to stay alive, they still divided and finished the juice.
The flesh of the plant was also peeled by Casa and shared between them.
Now looking at these Cals, it seems they were consuming these wild beasts’ food—which explains the indescribable flavor.
Suddenly, an ineffable aroma instantly pervaded the campsite.
The few beasts looked over and saw the tall Orc squatting there, stirring sothing, while that enticing scent was wafting from his direction.
Today, Xiu Yan made at soup again, but this ti, he added the purple berries that Ji Nuan had requested and cooked it into a pot of fragrant at porridge.
Ji Nuan was salivating, squatting next to Xiu Yan and swallowing saliva wildly, "It slls so good, I want to eat."
"You need to wait a little longer," the voice of the Orc carried a hint of pleasure.
