"Shaman, sir." A Guard Orc suddenly walked up to the entrance of the wooden hut.
Ji Nuan looked at him: "What’s wrong?"
The Orc bowed and said: "The Whale Priest and Chief Gui Zhuangzhuang from the Tortoise Tribe have arrived."
Bosson laughed heartily: "We were just talking about them, and here they are."
Ji Nuan also found it amusing. Was this the persistent ntions old people often talked about?
"Please invite them in."
After the Orc left, she also stood up from the Beast Skin mat.
"Hahaha, Shaman Ji Nuan has made us wait for a good while."
The Whale Priest, with Chief Gui Zhuangzhuang and several Aquatic Tribe Orcs, walked in.
Several Orcs behind him were carrying things on their backs, dripping with water.
The Priest did not co in directly but gestured to Ji Nuan like calling a junior over: "Shaman Ji Nuan, co take a look."
Ji Nuan also walked out with a smile.
In the anti, the Priest had the Orcs unload their baskets, wrapped in sea vegetables.
The Orcs tore off the sea vegetables to finally reveal the items inside—strange-looking Sea Beasts.
"These are deep sea Sea Beasts caught by our Orcs during the big trade fair. These Sea Beasts don’t have a strong fishy taste and are quite sweet. We brought them for Shaman Ji Nuan to taste."
Ji Nuan smiled: "Then we’ll have to trouble these Orcs to teach our tribespeople how to handle these precious Sea Beasts."
The Priest nodded: "Of course, find a few Orcs to go with them."
Bosson very consciously stepped out from behind Ji Nuan, called over a few Orcs, and walked off towards the beach, laughing and joking along the way.
Only then did Ji Nuan turn sideways to invite: "Let’s go, Priest, Chief Zhuangzhuang, we’ll talk inside."
After bonding over friendly exchanges, the Whale Priest brought up official business: "Shaman Ji Nuan, I’ve co to inquire on behalf of the Whale Priest about the food exchange between our two tribes that you ntioned last ti. Can it still continue?"
Ji Nuan nodded: "Of course, this is a trade between our two tribes, different from the temporary trade agreed at Swordfish Island last ti."
The Priest sighed in relief: "Then I’ll inform the Whale Priest. He’ll co in person to discuss the trade with you in the next few days."
Ji Nuan nodded: "Okay."
"There’s another matter I need the Priest’s help with. I’m planning to organize a trade fair here, for trading between the Land BeastmOrcen and the Aquatic Clan. I hope the Priest can help us promote it among the nearby Aquatic Tribes."
The Priest’s eyes widened in surprise: "Exchange for food?"
"Food is certainly the main focus, but there will also be so herbs, dicinal powders, and such."
The Priest laughed heartily: "That’s no problem at all. We, the Tortoise Tribe, will take care of this. We’ll make sure all the nearby Aquatic Tribes get the ssage."
Having settled the trade matters, the Priest, Chief Gui Zhuangzhuang, and a few Tortoise Tribe Orcs mooched a al here before happily heading back.
"Shaman, I suspect this Whale Priest from the Tortoise Tribe always tis his visits to coincide with alti on purpose, just to scrounge a al."
Ya Li said this earnestly on the side.
Ji Nuan glanced at him: "Ya Li, I just realized you’re such a stingy beast."
