Legendary Traveler: By Earning Progress Points I will Become Supreme! Chapter 307: The Table of Progression
For several tense minutes, Aoni read, then re-read the ssages displayed by his Attribute, his mind a churning hurricane of different thoughts, theories, ideas, and conclusions.
'So far, it feels like you haven't really left anything out…however, you didn't point the conversation in any certain direction either.' He mused while leaning back in his chair.
If the Host has questions, now would be the ti to ask because once the grace period is up, *22 minutes remaining*, then all questions in this line will cost an astronomical amount for half-assed answers
'Right…first question, are you one of the Previous Wielder's Wills?'
Inconclusive evidence available to give an adequate answer
'So neither a yes or no, next, why am I only just now learning about these wills? Shouldn't there have been three other ones that reached out to at so point?'
In the case of the First, Third, and Fourth Wielders, they have no interest in doing what the 3rd and 5th did, as they are rely content with watching the current Host Grow
'So I am so sort of entertainnt to them?' Aoni asked with a tense frown.
Not really, they are more so keepers or guardians of their Attribute, so long as the Host has the ability of a previous Wielder, then it is quite common for them to notice and watch
'Sigh, quite an evasive answer.' Leaning forward and drumming his fingers on the desk, Aoni thought about how to word the next question in such a way that it guaranteed a direct answer…and sure enough, his thod proved useful.
'Since every stage, I acquire a new Pseudo Attribute, and there are previous wielders involved, does that an that each one of them had a similar setup?'
That is correct; starting from the 2nd Wielder of Progression, the previous Host's Attribute was accessible, with it building as Progression continues through history
'So in a sense, there will co a point when I no longer get a new ability and instead will be carving my unique path forward.'
Correct again
'And how does that work?'
Insufficient Authority
'Oh, it's been a while since I've seen sothing like that…I take it you won't tell if I get to pick from a list of attributes or anything like that, will you.'
Get stronger and find out
'Tsk, no need for sass, hold on, full stop, pump the breaks, doesn't this an that technically speaking, I haven't actually acquired my own Attribute yet, and everything up until now and until I reach…oh shit, Grade-9, will be reliving the past capabilities of previous hosts?'
This realization didn't warrant a response from his AN; however, it did hurt Aoni's head quite a bit, considering wouldn't that an he was technically just a clone or sothing of the 8th Progression Wielder until he achieved his 9th star?
Had he appeared in the early cycles of Progression, he wouldn't have had to wait who knows how long before unlocking sothing unique to himself, but being 9th in line was quite a headache for Aoni.
The Host shouldn't worry about unnecessary things; there will be a ti and place for these thoughts, so it is better to take it all in stride and continue moving forward
'Yeah, I got that part, oh…' pausing as he peeked at the countdown clock indicating his free Q&A session was ending soon, Aoni tossed a final question into the mix.
'Were all those different tis my sanity and ntal state were brought into question a direct result of these so-called "Vile" wills?'
…
…
'Interesting,' Smirking as he caught his AN with its taphorical pants down, Aoni got a bit of satisfaction out of figuring out sothing on his own, yet at the sa ti, it caused a bit of worry in his mind.
Because it ant soone was driving the ship other than himself, and THAT was entirely unacceptable in Aoni's mind.
'When a wielder goes off the rails, there's sothing that steps in to course correct the new Wielder isn't there…'
…
100,000 pp Earned
'Shit, please tell that was rely a refund and not actually having a breakthrough…'
It happens
'Fuck, final question, is my Progression Attribute a living entity?'
RUMMMBLLLEEE
'Ohhh, not good,' kicking back his chair, Aoni ran at top speed out of his office, fled the manor, through the teleportation array, and out onto the mountain in less than a minute.
And it was a good thing he did because the mont he was outside on the bone-chillingly cold mountaintop, the familiar pressure descended on him like a freight train.
"AHHHRGGGG!" Dropping to his knees, it was at that mont, Aoni knew he fucked up and scratched the itch that he never should.
The Host isn't at a level of existence wherein they can ask these kinds of questions…but 1000 progress points will be awarded thanks to their swift action of keeping the pressure from harming his Summons
With bloodshot eyes, Aoni scanned that final ssage…before he heard a shattering sound, and the world went dark.

In another ti, space, dinsion…well, let's just say sowhere in the unknown…
-Scene- A vast, white room, where neither the ceiling, floor, or walls were perceivable, basically a void of infinite light, was a single, large, round table, where in nine chairs, eight were filled and one empty, positioned around it in a specific order.
"BWAHHhHAHAHAHaahAHhAhA!" A young woman, who, size-wise, appeared no older than 16, sat in the 6th chair and cackled madly.
"Did you see his face? He looked about ready to shit his pants, that was hilarious!" This woman, whose physical appearance was pitch black and unknown apart from a gleaming pair of Sapphire Eyes, drew a long sigh of annoyance from the being beside her, who sported Lavender eyes.
"Six, must you laugh like that every ti sothing happens to 9? I an, honestly, it sounds like nails on a chalkboard." The elderly voice belonging to the 7th seat asked without a hint of hostility or actual annoyance.
If anything, he found the one on his right far more bearable than who sat on his left.
"Yeah, yeah, I'm with seven; your bwahaha's are annoying to hear, so either do better or get in my bed so we can breed!" Carrion Blythe, whose li green eyes flashed with clear mania, chid in, Causing the 6th seat to shiver and scoot a bit closer to the 7th.
"Five, shut you're fucking mouth!" the Orange-eyed 3rd seat scread with unbridled rage noticeable in his tone.
"Hehe, three three three, had you not intervened, I coulda finally had so fun, tsk tsk," holding his hands up with shoulder shrugged, Carrion mocked; after all, it wasn't as if they could physically interact with each other, so apart from screaming and slinging curses, there wasn't a single thing that Desmond could do about their current situation.
"One, are you sure we can't do anything about these annoying fucking peasants?" Four, another woman, asked as her Citrine eyes never left the perverted and disgusting 5th seat.
"Sigh, I am just as helpless as you, Four; even if I was the originator of Progression, that doesn't an I have any more control than any other seat; how many tis must we go over this?" One stated with a tired sigh and fatigue in his grey eyes.
"Yet even after all this ti, you fancy yourself the leader," the Red Eye'd woman known as Two chid, with a soft chuckle hiding behind a slender hand.
"Co now, Two, you and I have been here longer than the others. If I were the leader, what would that make you? My co-leader?" One responded with a casual roll of his eyes.
"That reminds , why haven't you shown up to speak with Nine yet? Usually, by the ti a Wielder reaches Grade-4, you step in and give them that whole speech you spent hundreds of years concocting." Two teased, expertly changing the topic and making One shift uncomfortably in his seat.
"Ohhh great, Mom and Dad are at it again," a woman one seat over from One said with a giggle and a flash of her Pink eyes.
"Eight, seriously, you need to stop calling them that; they're old enough to be…uh..." Holding up so fingers and attempting to count generations, the lavender-eyed 7th seat soon gave up and spouted so random nonsense.
"our great ti's infinity grandparents,' this, of course, drew a bout of laughter from the more sane mbers of the table.
"Awww, but look at them, had they been born in the sa period, they totally could have been a sweet old married couple." Eight pleaded while kicking her legs back and forth like a child.
"Yeah, and we always call each other siblings, so I am with Eight; they are Mom and Dad…wait…that seems weird now if we are all siblings…then GASP, ARE WE THE PRODUCT OF INBREEDING!"
"OHHH SHIT YOU'RE RIGHT! Ahhh uh uhhh umm…"
"Hey, I don't mind breeding with my sibling, especially when she's such a sexy seductress like you, Eight!" Carrion said, licking his lips and causing all the won at the table to shiver.
"BACK YE FOUL DEMON, AINT NO SISTER FUCKING HAPPENING HERE!" Purple said in a righteous tone, causing Carrion to snort.
