Legendary Traveler: By Earning Progress Points I will Become Supreme! Chapter 260: Breaking The Seal (2)
Day 1:
After talking back and forth for a ti, Aoni finally settled in and began siphoning off more of the Grade-6 Energia stored within the Formation, with Anthony watching over him like a hawk.
Even though he knew this process wouldn't KILL his baby brother, that didn't an Anthony was going to just sit by and twiddle his thumbs out of boredom; nope, instead, it was quite the opposite.
What would be a simple utilization of a passive was bound to yield sothing in the way of knowledge for Ant, so as Aoni sat there bathed in Sapphire flas, he watched on, breaking down the mysterious manifestation and trying to derive so type of enlightennt from them.
As the minutes ticked by, periodically, Aoni stopped to consolidate his gains, beef up a passive, and get back to work.
---
One hour beca two, then three, and by the ti the DayCelest set for the evening, Aoni practically collapsed from exhaustion, smiling cheesily while looking up at his Traveler's Display.

'Fufufufu, god, it's so beautiful…*sniffle*.'
"Uh…Aoni, you good?" Standing up since his brother had called it a day, Anthony asked as he took a step away from the young man sprawled out wearing a perverted smile.
"Huh…oh yeah, totally, just looking at my gains."
"Uh-huh, and that for sure warrants you looking like a creepy uncle, right…"
"Tsk, what do you know, shoo shoo filthy nonbeliever," sitting up and receiving a small handtowel from Glacia to wipe his face, Aoni gestured at Anthony to get away while glancing back at his updated passive list.
Apart from his three Trade-skill passives, which were left untouched, Aoni went forward with upgrading everything else, from his resistance passives to his Inventory; each one of them had broken through to the next Stage and been upgraded with points…unfortunately, the downside of this was the ti it took him to receive each passives information.
So, while he could only Siphon off the Formation in 20-minute intervals it would take between twenty to forty minutes before he could start back up.
Honestly, most of the upgrades didn't do much, with the primary exceptions being his combat passives, such as the two Swordsmanships and Manipulations.
When it cos to wielding a sword, it would be a stretch to call him a combat veteran; however, saying he was well-trained and could put on a demonstration if need be wouldn't be an understatent.
In a sense, he was no different than a person who had taken karate classes for several years, learning all the various forms and arts of fighting, yet had never done anything with it apart from showing off to earn higher belts.
The knowledge and movents were there, but he lacked practical experience.
However, the sa couldn't be said about Aoni's manipulation of passives; those were an entirely different beast.
For the first ti, Aoni no longer felt as if he were stumbling in the dark and had finally received so help moving and controlling Energia.
G, F, E, none of them gave any real benefits apart from the smoother movent of energia; however, NOW, he had actual information pertaining to not only utilizing energia but also forming, manifesting, controlling, and being efficient at all three.
Through this enlightennt, Aoni finally understood the error in his technique and his inability to move and fire off attacks.
'It all has to do with the way I cycle Energia; if I want to keep on the move and utilize attacks, it needs to course through my entire body, creating a singular circuit, instead of just EC to limb, as I have been doing.'
'Since I build a rudintary pattern, any minor changes caused by a shift of a muscle or twitch of my body interrupt the channels, so it needs to be expanded to compensate for that issue.'
'Without doing so, it's like trying to swim upstream against a subrged jet engine covered in hundreds of pounds of training weights, completely counterproductive, and…' Peeking at Ant out of the corner of his eye, Aoni felt the urge to tackle his brother and abuse him again for not letting him know sooner.
'Sigh, in all fairness; it's not his fault; it's mine; sothing like this should be Mage 101; unfortunately, I am no mage and have nobody to guide .'
"Ant."
"Aoni."
"Fight ."
"Nope."
"WHAT!"
"What do you an "What"? Do you believe to be Clara, ready to enter battle at a mont's notice, HELLO~ MAGE, we fight like playing chess, not like barbarians wielding weapons." Rolling his eyes, Anthony turned and was about to head up the stairs when he suddenly felt danger and jumped to the side in the nick of ti to avoid a perfectly crafted sword of ice.
Much to his surprise, instead of smashing into the wall as it should have, the sword veered upward, avoiding the wall before circling back and shooting at him a second ti.
"What the fuck?" Anthony cursed while igniting his fists and punching the incoming projectile, lting it instantly and then whipping around to scream at his brother.
Yet when he did, his entire body trembled because right there, not even three inches from his face, were at least thirty different constructs poised and ready to turn him into a human porcupine.
"Wha.." and that's when he noticed sothing; unlike any other ti he'd seen Aoni use Energia Attacks while stationary, now…he was on the move, summoning more swords, pushing them into place, and continuing to stay in motion the entire ti.
"You-You-you…"
"--," Aoni retorted with a cheeky grin…that is, until he stumbled half a second later and faceplanted onto the paved stone floor.
"Gao gao GAOO!"
{'Glaci-Glaci, Dat EE!'}
