This single stone alone cost Tens of Millions of CryptoDollars, and frankly, he was hesitating now that the ti to use it had arrived.

Expensive didn't paint a clear enough picture when describing this Node Stone; between its scarcity and rarity, there was no doubt in his mind that obtaining it was a joint effort from his entire family, as there were hundreds of hurdles and miles of red tape to cut through if one wanted to get their hands on such a thing.

After all, money alone wouldn't suffice.

Entire auctions were centered around this type of Node, and that's with it being at 3-Stars. Had it been even higher…

Shaking his head, Aoni refused to think about what had been sacrificed to give him such an opportunity.

You see, unlike most other Node Stones, which involved a certain level of autonomy or even random chance, Array Nodes let you pick and choose what you want after drawing the wielder into sothing akin to the Mock-Builders Mode.

With a Single Star, the wielder was given a list of 5 arrays to choose from; 2-stars gave 15 choices, and 3-stars 30, of which the Three-Star ALWAYS gave the choice of a Teleportation Array.

Anything else would be considered underutilizing the Node's potential.

The sheer utility that ca along with a Teleportation array far outweighed sothing like a barrier or offensive protocol; hell, there were even Arrays that would help increase stat training. While sothing like one of the 6 or 7 Training Arrays was viable, nothing beat sothing that would allow a person to move from point A to Point B instantly.

However, that isn't to say the Teleportation Array was without flaws. The cost of sustaining such a thing was astronomically high, paired with a limited number of people who could use it at a single ti, and it was considered to have a short range (A Maximum of 1 Mile); it served one purpose and only one purpose.

Linking two points for quick escapes or making travel more convenient.

'Sigh, I really gotta do sothing above and beyond for the family when I get back…' Feeling a warm sensation spreading through his chest as he recognized the thought and care that went into this valuable asset, Aoni quit holding back, applied Mana to the Node and crushed it before slamming his palm on the ground.

And then, he woke up inside a white room with a hologram display shining on the wall.

"Sigh, it truly is amazing how much this place looks like sothing out of Terra instead of Genovia." Slowly making his way toward the wall, which had a touch function allowing for easy navigation, Aoni mused, only to receive an unexpected response from his AN.

If, say, a Genovian Native were to activate one, they would enter a space designed to suit their standard knowledge, probably in the form of a Clerk of their Species that would hand them a slip or sothing to that extent |

"HOLD!" Skidding to a stop with his arm stretched out and ready to peruse the choices, Aoni's face scrunched up in confusion before addressing what he just read.

"The fuck do you an, "If a Genovian were to Activate a Node" is that even possible. I thought only Travelers could use them?"

| It has never once in the History of Genovia or even Travelers been proven that only a being linked with a Flu could utilize items that co from them; in fact, after reading through your mories, it is evident that there is an entire industry built around the trade of weapons spawned from Flus, so why would a Node be any different |

"This… I…guess I never really thought of that…we were always taught never to allow Natives to touch or get near Nodes…but co to think of it, I've never explicitly been told they couldn't use them."

| It is highly likely to be a product of information hoarding on the part of the Host's country and not individuals; after all, the Monarch, as he claims himself, keeps strict control of anything above 2-Stars |

Rubbing his face with an open palm, Aoni stood there for several minutes, completely absorbed in the thought that he really needed to be more careful if he ever got his hands on truly good items from his Flu.

"Man, I just wanna live a peaceful life without being hassled by everything and anything. Is that really so much to ask for?" Resigning himself to a life of hiding until he was strong enough to stand on his own, Aoni navigated through the extrely easy-to-use online-style store hologram on the wall until he located the Teleportation Array and confird his choice.

"Huh, im back TSSS, fuck that burns…" Suddenly aware that he was no longer in the white room as if he'd just woken up from being dically knocked out, Aoni clutched his right hand and winced as a multi-layered spell circle traced out on his palm in Orange light.

Curved lines, circles, and strange runes that seed to be alive were printed into his hand until it was completely covered, both sides of it, before the light faded away, leaving a strange, moving tattoo.

"Fooo, ow…" Pausing and glaring at his hand for a mont, Aoni uttered another "OW," this ti with a bit more force, before moving on to placing the first part of the array.

For this, he had to be extrely careful because whatever or wherever he touched, this tattoo would be imposed, marking it as Point A for Teleportation.

The sa could be said about the second thing he touched, which would, of course, beco Point B.
