Sitting in silence and staring at Glacia, who, after a not-so-lengthy conversation, finally agreed to close her eyes, Aoni couldn't shake the feeling that she hadn't changed much on the maturity scale.

It wasn't as if she had magically beco smart; no, she was VERY clearly emulating a lot of the actions and phrases he had been using around her, which was evident in more ways than one.

Even a quick peek into her mind through the LoS showed subtle but apparent signs of her intellect forming, and as much as the Lad would like to believe that she had overall gotten smarter, he knew it wasn't the case.

Her sassiness clearly ca from sowhere, and Aoni could look no further than himself.

The Link of Subordination was funny that way; it was a give-and-take of certain aspects. Unless a Summon ca out of the flu with its mind fully intact and years of life experience, it would be the Lord's intelligence that would be slowly trickle-fed into the mind of the summon.

Mind you, that doesn't an the Summon's personality would be a literal clone of their Lord, not in the slightest; that would be no different than saying children are molded into perfect clones of their parents.

It was simply a matter of fact that the LoS would pass on certain traits from Lord to Summon.

As was the case with Glacia.

When she was summoned, the floof was still considered a literal infant, with barely a paw out of the newborn phase, so while she had basic instincts and knowledge implanted in her the way most creatures raised in Energia did, she would end up being a sponge for all of Aoni's bad habits.

One could say that every little habit she had, from the way she dazed off lazily to her horrible sleeping posture, were all learned traits taken directly from the Lad.

Add in innocent childish wonder and whimsy, and you have the curious lil ball of fluff.

Because he had seen this coming a mile away, Aoni had done his best to instill certain good behaviors into Glacia. Yet, there was only so much he could do when being forced into relying on sothing as unconventional as the LoS.

Sotis, actually scratch that, probably a good three-fourths of the things Aoni would say to Glacia would go in one ear and out the other, considering there was a very real disconnect between them understanding each other.

And that brings us to the good ol picture book shows; in the Lad's mind, if it worked on kids, it should work on the baby summons, right?

Sitting up and shooting a nod toward Nyria, Aoni calmly pet Glacia's head for a few seconds while the birb got the bed set up behind him.

"Now Glacia, you have to be gentle, GENTLE, with your reward, treat it the sa way as your pillow,"

'Pillow, she asks,' Nyria, quick on the uptake and finished setting up the bed, translated sothing that Aoni already knew the aning behind.

"Yep, just like the pillow, you gotta be careful not to rip it with these," picking up her paw and tapping Glacia's claws, the Lad was really going all out with making sure nothing would happen to his creation.

"Okay, on three, you can open your eyes…" Glancing behind himself and estimating the distance he would need to clear in order to not bump into Nyria as well as not trip over the bed, Aoni smirked and Tapped Glacia's nose, a sign that she could begin counting down.

"Gaooo,"

"Ooooo,"

"Twooo,"

"GAOOOO!"

"CHEEE!" Spreading his arms out and smiling in a goofy way as he used a certain Birb's call, Aoni was practically turned deaf a split second later.

"SQUAWK!!!"

Snapping her eyes open and throwing her arms in the air like it was playti, Glacia caught sight of her little sister and Lord standing behind a big round object. Still, her attention was instead diverted away from her reward and at the two standing behind it.

"AHHH NYRIA!!"

'NEVER, AGAIN!' Nyria scread into the LoS while abusing her Lord gently, but hey, wing taps can still be considered abuse.

"OKAY, OKAY, I WON'T DO IT AGAIN." Covering his head with both arms as Nyria hovered above him and smacked him around with her wings, Aoni's laughter was cut short by a confused gao, which brought both him and the birb back to the true reason they were here.

Padding over on all fours and sniffing the bed, Glacia gently bapped it with her left paw, and upon feeling how soft it was, her eyes lit up. Innocent as she may be, the floof was able to understand why Aoni had said to treat it like her pillow and knew the purpose of the giant round thing imdiately.

"This is your new, personal, exclusive BED! No more sleeping on rocks or the ground; you have your own space now," kneeling beside Glacia as she hopped over the short barrier and into the center of her bed, Aoni explained its purpose.

"GAOOOOOO! Gao gao ggaooooo," of course, after realizing what it was, Glacia turned into HYPER mode and began spinning around in circles before plopping down lazily with smiling eyes.

"I think she likes it; what do you think, Nyria," reaching over to scratch Glacia's belly, Aoni t the happy visage of his birb, who nodded and clacked her beak a few tis.

'She keeps saying soft or mine over and over,' Taking off to the opposite side of the cave to fetch her nest and joining her sister in relaxing, Nyria didn't forget to translate the murmuring gaos and OoO's coming from the floof before showing off her reward to her sister.

Giving her a good couple more pats, Aoni left the two to their comfort and walked over to the bedroom wall before placing his hand on it.

'The hibernations and reward ceremonies are done; now it's ti to get back to work; starting tomorrow, there are only 12 days left until the barrier cos down, and we aren't even remotely close to ready for what happens next.' Hiding his weary expression from his summons, Aoni took a deep breath and sighed.
