Minjae sat alone in his room. His legs were crossed on the floor while a bowl of chips was placed in front of him. The TV in his room was on. It was playing the episode of 3 Days & 2 Nights.
Minjae watched himself appear on the screen. He could see himself smiling, laughing, and even having the perfect connection with the cast of the show.
He was initially nervous before watching it. After all, variety shows were different. There were no scripts, no retakes. It was just them being themselves.
The editing team had done a great job though. They picked his best reactions, and even added funny sound effects. It was strange seeing himself like that, but not in a bad way.
Minjae checked his phone after the episode aired. The notifications from all social dia sites were all coming in. There were ntions, tags, and even fan edits.
His fanbase was growing steadily and he couldn't thank them more enough.
Minjae's wintergram followers had also gone up. He had also seen a few sweet ssages from the fans, and it was truly warming up his heart.
"Wow… this is actually doing really well." Minjae let out a small laugh.
Jihoon calling…
Soon after, his phone rang from an incoming call. When Minjae saw who it was, he imdiately answered it
"Hey, Jihoon." Minjae partially covered his ears.
"MINJAE-HYUNG!" As expected, Jihoon's voice was so loud that it almost made him flinch. "Did you watch the episode Hyung? You did, right?"
"Yeah, yeah, I just finished it." Minjae sighed.
"Hyung! It's so good, right?! The editing made us look like we're actual stars. I was crying and laughing at my own scenes. I didn't know I was that funny!" Jihoon was practically shouting with excitent over it.
Minjae shook his head in disbelief but still agreed with Minjae's words.
"Yeah, the editing was good. I was surprised too. We didn't even do anything special, but sohow it looked… fun." Minjae answered as a small smile appeared on his lips.
"Exactly!" Jihoon said, agreeing on it imdiately. "I got like a thousand new followers since the episode started! Can you believe that, Hyung? I'm not even joking! You know what? We need to celebrate, tonight! Let's call Yura and Seojin too, okay?"
"Alright. I'm in." Minjae hesitated for only a second, then nodded. It wouldn't be that bad to celebrate, since the success of their episode also ant the success of their promotion.
"Alright, alright! I'll call them imdiately. Dress warmly, hyung. It's getting cold outside."
"I will."
As the call ended, Jihoon imdiately called the other two. He also expressed his excitent with them, and in no ti, they managed to form a quick plan for the dinner for tonight.
Jihoon, Yura, and Seojin thought that they shouldn't only celebrate the success of their episode, but also celebrate Minjae's success as being the face of Lux & Co.
The three of them were deeply happy with what Minjae showed, so even if it was sudden, they decided to treat Minjae to a nice restaurant.

At exactly 7 pm, Minjae arrived at the location that Jihoon had texted him earlier. They agreed to eat at a well-known Chinese restaurant located in one of the neighborhoods in Seoul.
The restaurant was famous. Even from the outside, the sll of freshly cooked dumplings and noodles could be slled in the air. So people who were just passing by even stopped soti just to look at the nu and eat because of the good and savory sll.
When Minjae went inside, he imdiately noticed that the whole place was packed. The round tables were full of families eating together. There were also smaller tables for couples or small groups of friends who wanted to enjoy dinner for tonight.
Since the place was packed, the servers were also moving nonstop. So were carrying tray filled with hot steaming food, so were taking orders, and there were a few who were cleaning the tables for the next custor.
The line was also long outside, but Jihoon said that they were able to go in much earlier because they were able to have a reservation. However, as he scanned the area, he didn't see him or anybody else.
"Where are they?" he frowned. He took his phone from his pocket and checked to see if he received any ssages, but there were none.
Taking a deep sigh, he decided to ssage them instead.
[Minjae: I'm here. Where are you guys?]
However, after a minute of waiting, and received no reply. He even checked the signal and saw that it was perfectly working.
'Maybe they're just sowhere here.'
Minjae tried to scan the restaurant again. He even walked a little to see if missed so spots but Jihoon, Yura, and Seojin were nowhere to be seen.
"These three fools, don't tell they ditched ?" Frowning slightly, Minjae walked back to the reception area of the desk. In there, he spoke to one of the waitresses behind the counter.
"Excuse ," Minjae smiled, "I think my friends made a reservation here? For four people?"
"For what na, Sir?" The waitress kindly smiled as she imdidately checked their guestbook.
"For Jihoon."
"Oh!" The waitress nodded quickly as if the na rang a bell to his air. "Ah, yes! You must be Mr. Nam Minjae, right?"
"Uhm, yes, that's ."
The waitress sweetly smiled.
"Alright. Please follow , Sir. They're waiting for you."
Still confused about it, Minjae followed the waitress. They went past the main dining area, going to the second floor of the restaurant. In there he saw a few private rooms.
'They managed to reserve a function room on such short notice?' Minjae raised a brown when he thought of it.
It seed impossible knowing that the restaurant they were in was very popular.
The waitress led Minjae down to a short hallway. After a few more walking, they stopped in front of a door at the end.
"They're here, Sir. Thank you."
"Oh, alright."
The waitress gave one last polite nod to Minjae before turning and walking away, her steps disappearing down the hall in just a few seconds.
Minjae, who was left standing in front of the door, was still a little unsure. He glanced at the doorknob, then back down the hallway.
Taking a deep sigh, Minjae shook his head.
"…This better not be a prank," he muttered under his breath, already feeling that there was sothing wrong with the three.
Still, curiosity got the better of Minjae. With a small sigh, he reached for the door and slowly pushed it open.
The mont the door creaked open a unified voice greeted him out loud.
"Surprise!!"
Minjae blinked, eyes widening in shock. He was genuinely surprised by the three. What surprised him more was the room that they were in.
Behind the door was a cozy private room. It was warmly lit to give off a hoy vibe. The ceiling were also decorated with floating lanterns while the walls were decorated with a few colorful balloons.
On the middle of the room, a colorful banner was hanging above with the words "Congrats to us!" written on it.
However, that wasn't the only thing that surprised Minjae.
His eyes caught the attention of Yura. She was standing in the middle of Jihoon and Seojin. She was holding a small cake in her hands. It had soft white frosting and a little ribbon design in the side.
In the center of the cake, the words "Congrats on your Lux & Co. campaign, Minjae!" were written in icing.
When Minjae read it, he froze in place.
"What… is this?" he asked, still surprised as he stepped fully into the room. He thought that the others were pranking him, but he got a surprised instead.
"Oppa, It's a celebration, obviously." Yura gave him a warm smile.
"Yup. For all of us!" Jihoon added, already grinning from ear to ear. He was the one who planned this all behind. "But mostly for you, hyung."
"You didn't expect this, huh?" Seojin, who was standing next to Yura also laughed.
Minjae looked around, still trying to take it in. He was amused at the effort they had put into decorating the room in such a short amount of ti.
They only had a few hours, but they were able to do everything. They also had warm and happy expression on their faces, evident that they were happy at what they have done.
"You guys…" he said slowly, blinking a few tis, "You did all this?"
"Of course we did!" Jihoon bead, dramatically placing a hand on his chest as if he was so proud of himself.
"We may be rookies, but we're not that broke, Hyung!"
"We just wanted to celebrate, Oppa" Yura added. "The episode of our promotion did well and the fans loved it. And we also want to celebrate your recent success as the new face of Lux & Co.!"
Minjae looked down for a mont, trying to hide the smile growing on his lips. His heart felt warm. He hadn't expected this at all.
"Well… Thanks, then" he said sincerely, looking back at the three of them. "I an it."
