Another swing on a wolf made its head cut vertically in half. The wolf went limp and Lucas made its way to kill yet another one of them by destroying the dark matter.
It was his sixth kill and so far, everything looked safe, nobody was bitten as many tis, things were taken care of by John, Sarah, and Jerry, and so other tis, even Mike played a huge role.
Apparently, his tough skin was tough enough to make so of the teeth of the wolves break on contact. It was a huge jump scare for them all when they saw the scene of Mike's knuckles in the wolve's rabid mouth.
But his skill was activated and he got no scratch or bite mark. From that point, Mike was free and he smashed his gauntlets, elbows, and legs at the wolves without care for his safety.
One could even say that he beca too much confident but it didn't do him any bad.
Lucas was at the quarter of leveling up again, he just needed to complete the 75% mark and he was going to be level 7, a single level below his father.
It had been an hour of coordinated fights, no one went closer, and with everyone fulfilling their roles, the leveling was smoother.
Even the ones that did nothing like Bill, Haley, and Sandra got experience in minuscule quantities for just being in the party but the kills were enough to level them a few tis due to them being only level 2 or 3 before.
Jimmy was there moving in circles slashing as many wolves in half and letting the other complete the task. Only Mike who was also a front-line fighter was forbidden from destroying the dark matter which made him annoyed but it was for his own safety.
Lucas didn't find touching the dark matter with bare hands a wise decision, he wanted him to just decapitate them and the killing could be done with the ones that had weapons.
After killing countless wolf zombies, there was another pause and then the wolves stopped coming, they had to only finish the ones that were on the ground ready to be leveling experience.

"I am not tired but I want to sit down now..." Sarah said with a sad face.
Lucas grumbled at the idea of sitting down on the flesh that kept on moving slightly making him want to leave that instant.
"Finally so work!" Another female voice ca from behind, Lucas had to look to know who she was and he was surprised and had a face of realization at the sa ti.
Haley didn't let anyone say anything and moved her hand making the sa old makeshift table and chair co materialize in front of them.
It was the first ti in his whole life that Lucas was going to cry and had such an emotional drive by the chair-looking crude seating arrangents.
"Everyone sit and I can heal your stamina with my skill," Ella said with a smile, all this while, she had no use in the fight aside from giving so healings to John and Sarah as all the movent of again and again pulling a string and having a foot position to throw respectively had tired them more than the others.
Lucas first gave the others the ti to sit on the chairs and after a single healing from Ella, they had their muscles refreshed as if they slept for many hours and woke up tiredness.
When finally Lucas took his chance after getting forced by Jimmy and John to go next, the mont he bent his knees and sat was the mont his knees let go from all the tiredness.
All this ti, they may have been safe but at the sa ti, the physical exhaustion was imnse after continuous fights for many non-stop hours.
And when the healing went his way to his body, a next-level euphoric reaction took place in him, all the soreness and tiredness went with a poof after the healing made its way to all the places it needed to make normal.
All the lactic acid in Lucas's body didn't make it any easier and for so reason, Ella knew about it, she made him drink a lot of water with the help of Sandra and all the people who were feeling guilty the whole ti finally had the way of helping out.
"Jimmy, you are free now so I will tell you know what I found, the human-looking zombies were all level 2 and the dogs were level 3, all of them," Billy said while standing and looking at the chairs that were full. He had asked them to fix him up after all of them were done.
Lucas could not believe that all this while, his attention hadn't gone toward the description of these damn things.
Lucas got up from the chair after feeling that he had no need for sitting when he got healed by Ella.
"What were their stats like? And the skills?" Jimmy asked with seriousness giving Lucas yet another vital information about his yet another teammate.
But Lucas felt it happening again, the relationship that changed between Lucas and Sarah after the first life-and-death fight.

The only thing was that it was happening again with these unknown people that he had just t many hours ago.
"The stats were downright bad for the humanoid ones, the wolves had speed increased by so points but that was it. And this is hard to believe but they had no skill at all. Not even a single one."
Lucas was not surprised by this information as the zombies were very weak and did not seem alive, to begin with. All Lucas could theorize was that the dark matter was the thing that was making the dead corpses do their bidding.
