After John vouched for Lucas, the others started to see him in a new light.
John had made them think from another perspective. Yes, the way they t would make anyone mad. It was just that Lucas was extra made which made so of these people wary of him.

The man was in his 30s, he looked burly and big and had no tattoos on his body. But he still looked scary other than the fact that his eyes were that of a kind man.
"So the fire skills are of different kinds huh... Sarah, if you will." Lucas said with a smile which made Sarah smile in return. She moved her hand up and a small ball of fire got materialized the next second with no trouble.
Jimmy and the others were surprised to see the skill but in the end, even Jerry moved his hand with his palm facing the ground. He blinked once and a bullet made of fire shot out from his palm.

The skill that the guy used was different, at once Lucas could tell that the guy couldn't materialize and keep it in his hand and it had to be shot if the skill was activated, unlike Sarah who had the ability to keep burning the fireball in her hand at the expense of continuous mana drain.
"Mike can make his skin change to stone which makes it hard to attack him," Jimmy said when the others were still marveling about Mike's skill.
He without waiting started speaking about Sandra's skill, ".... Sandra here can make a ball of water to attack but it's not strong, so we use it to drink water." Jimmy had so hesitance when he said that and he was right.
Everyone in Lucas's group including him started looking at the girl with surprise and a tinge of envy. Having a supply of water and only at the expense of so mana loss was very big.
It was at the level of Lucas's shelter generation skill as water was very much needed by anyone.
"The water is drinkable? Can you show us, young lady?" John asked with the sweetest of smiles which made Sandra who was holding Jimmy's hand very tightly nod sheepishly.

"That is so nice!" Lucas exclaid with a laugh which made the groups look at him weirdly, they hadn't seen a single ti where Lucas had laughed other than so smiles here and there.
But it made them better comfortable with Lucas who was now looking more and more sain to them.
"I know, right? We can give you so to drink if you'd like. The lucky thing is that the water is fresh and is always like that." Jimmy offered, and it was the last nail to the coffin where his wariness for them was gone.
He still didn't trust them entirely but having the wariness go was also a step to a future relationship.
Sandra made the ball of water poof out of existence and a lot of water splashed on everyone, she was going to apologize but seeing the euphoric and calm expression on everyone made her stop.
Now that Lucas had seen with his mind fresh, he could tell that these guys were very clean unlike them. Even the clothes that Jimmy's group wore were clean.
Sandra made a very small ball of water and went to everyone one by one. Lucas was very surprised to see that she ca to them like that. They could have just taken her hostage and taken her to the shelter for water generation but lucky for her, Lucas and the group were not that kind of people.
Lucas joined his hand and made a makeshift bowl out of it when Sandra tossed the ball in his hand gently. Lucas could see the sincerity on her face which was very beautiful. She had green eyes with hair copper in color.
The more Lucas saw her, the more he could see that she was a beauty until Sandra noticed his gaze and started averting her gaze making Lucas realize that he had to stop.
The small ball of water was tossed so gently that not a single drop of water spilled from his hand. Lucas didn't wait and drank the water urgently without a single hesitation of the slurping sound he was making.
Soon, his mouth felt waves of coolness and the freshness of the water, when the water went through his neck, he had a sense of relief that he used to get while drinking the dense blue liquid of the rapacious plant.
He liked it at first but then it beca normal but when he drank actual water again, the taste was like the filtered water he used to drink from his kitchen.
And his reaction was the most 'normal' one out of all, Sarah even shed so tears making him wonder how much she hated the water from the rapacious plant.
When they were all done, so was Sandra as her mana was already halfway making him make an average number of her mana storage.
