Sarah stood there with a confused expression, as if Lucas had asked her the most obvious question.

"What do you an? Aren't I supposed to bring him back if given a chance?" she asked calmly.

Lucas was taken aback. He could sense her genuine emotions—she truly believed it was the most natural thing to do.

"It's not normal to bring a dead person back, is it?" Lucas asked.

"Hmm… not in this world, it isn't. Are you going to stop ?" Sandra asked, her brows furrowing into a frown.

"Never," Lucas said slowly, and before Sandra could respond, he added, "But if the mont cos when you're able to bring your brother back and it feels like the wrong this to do, or if it puts others in danger, I'll stop you with everything I have. Got it?" His face was serious, his tone firm.

Though the conversation seed like a child sharing a naive dream, Sandra was right—in this world, almost anything was possible.

Bringing the dead back would be a monuntal task, but not an impossible one.

"Seems reasonable. I won't endanger anyone because of my experints or my goal," she said with a slight nod.

"Good. That's all settled. Although I still don't think you should be out here, I'll try to find a safer place for you."

"That's fine and all, but tell what work is left before we can head to the dungeon. I need to get so answers quickly," Sandra said, a faint smile appearing on her face.

Lucas chuckled. It was the only kind of smile she ever seed to show anymore, and if it was because of her passion and goals, he didn't mind.

'Bringing him back, huh… brings back bad mories.' Lucas thought. Though the mories were old, he could still recall Jimmy's sacrifice vividly.

'I rember being traumatized by his death, but after everything I've been through...' He shook off the lingering thoughts and focused back on Sandra, who was now staring at him in confusion.

"Where did you go? I asked what work is left," Sandra repeated herself.

Lucas quickly explained everything they still needed to do. When he finished, Sandra seed deep in thought.

"Well, I can help with the work. That way, it'll get done faster. I'll call Barky back from his hunt," Sandra said, closing her eyes.

Lucas looked at her, confused, he thought about what she was talking about and soon, a realization dawned on him. "Oh, you still have the undead from back then?"

"Well, it wasn't 'back then' for —just for you. And yes, it's my first and only undead summon. I've been careful not to lose it," Sandra muttered, opening her eyes again.

"And you nad it Barky?" Lucas asked, barely holding back laughter.

Sandra flushed with embarrassnt. "S-Shut it! Let's just get to work," she said quickly, trying to change the topic.

"As an undead, does it even bark?" Lucas asked, laughing now.

"It does! I'll show you when it cos back, you'll see, you bastard," she grumbled, turning away in a huff. Lucas knew he had successfully annoyed her.

"Let's go."

Back at the shelter, Haley looked at Sandra in surprise. It had been a long ti since she'd seen her sister argue about anything. Haley hurried over and joined the conversation. Before long, laughter filled the small shelter, and one by one, everyone else joined in. It was a tightly-knit community, and monts like this were rare and cherished.

Later, Lucas surveyed the growing pile of wooden planks on the ground. There were now thirty planks stacked neatly, all of common quality—unlike the ones Lucas had crafted, which were of uncommon quality.

While working on one of the fallen trees, Lucas heard the Kobold's scream again. It was still locked in the crude shelter beside their own and hadn't erged since Lucas gave it the order. Almost everyone had taken a look at it by now, its aggressive deanor instilling even more fear in the non-fighters.

Ella, too, had seen it and was even angrier after witnessing its nature. It made her frustration toward John harder to contain.

After spending ti with the others, Sarah returned to the shelter to work on refining tal ingots from ore. While there wasn't much ore left, it was enough for her to practice and gain experience for her skill.

anwhile, Bill was in Lucas's shadow, using his Inspect skill repeatedly, despite the headache it gave him. He persisted, close to finally seeing sothing other than Lucas's na—a small but promising step forward.

The day passed peacefully in the shelter, aside from the Kobold's intermittent screams. By the end of the day, Mike and John finished constructing the remaining huts. For the first ti since they'd started the project, Mike took a well-deserved break, having leveled up several tis during the process.

"All right, everyone. The huts are ready, thanks to Mike and John's collaborative efforts. Aside from the already assigned huts, you can now choose your own," Lucas announced, standing before the group.

Cheers erupted, and Haley scread in delight, grabbing her sister's hand in excitent. Sandra tried to match her enthusiasm but settled for a small smile. Still, she was genuinely happy to finally have her own space.

Despite this, the sisters decided to share a hut, at least for now.

That evening, everyone enjoyed a hearty al together. Lucas took the opportunity to contact his mother and sister.

His mother's territory had beco a trading powerhouse, even better at his but in different sectors thanks to her skills and the help of her powerful husband, who consistently secured rare resources. Her business and safety were unparalleled.

Tessa, his sister, was faring well too, though she faced daily battles with increasingly strong goblins. The goblins attacked in hordes, growing stronger with each wave, but Tessa's skills had evolved significantly through constant use. Each wave of Goblins made her even stronger than before.

Lucas encouraged them both, promising that they'd see each other again soon. Their determination fueled his own, and he returned to his practice on teleportation circles with renewed focus.

When the day was done, Lucas entered his small hut. Though it was empty and barren, he felt a profound sense of pride in what they had accomplished.
