"Lucas, control."
Lucas looked at John for a few monts until the bloodlust started to subside again, and his gaze beca normal.
"See, Uncle John? I can't control myself without outside help. I want to get this all out a once. But I am not getting the opportunity."
John could feel the sadness in his voice, he had the right words for a situation like this but saying sothing from the brain wasn't going to make things any better.
"Lucas, you have controlled it completely. Do you rember the ti when you got this mark at first? Your nails elongated, your teeth beca bigger, and your eyes were filled with sinisterness. It was horrible to look at you like this." John stated making Lucas rember that ti again.
"But now, nothing like this has happened for a while now, see, this situation is very different from what we have handled till now but we are going to get past this. So what if you can't control it for a long ti, that just ans that you can use it in ways different than you might think right now. Give it a little thought, Lucas. This is also an opportunity. See your options…"
John said as he started moving to the stairs when he finally went upstairs leaving Lucas to his own thoughts.
Lucas sighed deeply as he forced a small smile on his face.
'He is right… god damn, that man is good.'
Lucas went in front of the furnace and looked at it cool off. He didn't want to multi-task and in its place, complete a single task at one ti even if it would take him days to complete it.
A few hours later….
Lucas had used the hovel to get the ash out when he was finally able to resist the hotness inside the furnace. The ash was now on a big leather piece that was plain on the side of the skin.
John's ability to process the leather had beco very good and it was showing in the way things were going with the leather pieces.
"Alright, ashes done."
Now that the ashes were kept on the other side to cool off, Lucas used this ti to use the furnace again, only this ti, he kept all the bone powder inside it.
According to the blueprint, it was the process in which all the organic matter would vanish from the calcium which would help the mixture beco more reactive to each other.
Lucas waited for the whole ti until he felt like it was enough. His first ti was all about experintation and trials. He had the drive to make it successful but also a higher drive to make the recipe work successfully.
After a little cooling of the furnace, Lucas went up to eat and after making so small talk and asking about their progress.
When he ca back down, John and Sean were also in their own little workshops working on stuff.
Lucas could even see Barney fixing the equipnt that ca to him. One of the things inside the pile of things he had to fix was a leather vest.
Lucas was happy to see even the leather equipnt could be fixed.
He went to the furnace, took all the ashes out, and let it cool a bit while he prepared for the next steps.
The ashes were in a good quantity, even the bone powder was enough to make a single batch.
"Now cos the complicated part huh… Heh, Probably not for ." Lucas snickered qt the fact that his perceptive eyes were coming in as a savior again.
He knew the ratio at which he had to put the mixture which was 3:1.
Lucas placed the ashed in a higher quantity which was the ratio 3 while the ashes were kept in the 1 ratio.
Lucas didn't know about the values of the ratios. So he took 3 portions of the ash in the cup he drank the potions in and the one cup filled with bone powder to the big basket where he was going to mix things up.
Now ca the most complicated part, it was easy yet hard at the sa ti. Lucas didn't know what he was doing other than looking and following the recipe blueprint kept on the ground.
Your next chapter awaits on My Virtual Library Empire
The blueprint was making him giggle again and again as it was very detailed and was written in a way that made it feel like an ancient language.
Lucas counted to three and poured water to the brim of the bucket.
He looked at everything moving in the water and mixing together.
Lucas read the next part and waited for everything to mix completely and settle down.
He went to John, Sean, and Banrey consecutively to look at their work while the mixture was settling.
He passed soti just like that for an hour when he ca to the liquid again only to see that it was only done halfway, or even lower than halfway.
"Just how much ti is it going to take?"
Lucas sat in his workshop scribbling so more proportions of the herbs he could mix together to make new products.
It was sothing he did not very often as these new proportions always ca out unsuccesful.
It was a hit-and-trial thod.
Finally, when he looked at the bucket again, the water had cleared a little on the surface and now he knew that the mixture had settled on the ground.
Lucas giggled involuntarily which made the others look at him and laugh. It was sothing Lucas did often when he was excited about stuff.
He took another bucket and kept it side by side with the one that contained the mixture.
"Hahhh…" Lucas picked up the bucket slowly and started to drain the water from the mixture carefully, the water flowed easily inside the bucket and in the bottom.
Lucas could see the gooey mixture that looked quite like the picture that was on the blueprint.
Lucas drained the water completely and now, only the dense mixture was left in the bucket.
