"Hmm, I like that." A smile ford on Bill's face that Lucas had not seen for a while.
He knew what was happening to Bill and the had the reason behind him looking like a diseased zombie yet only a handful knew about it.
Lucas just sighed and took a breather, his eyes fixed on Bill as he nodded to his approval.
On the spot, Lucas clicked on the 'Scout' role and the option of choosing a na from a drop-down list ca in front of him.
He chose Bill's na and soon, one of the scout's position were gone and beside it, Bill's na ca.
[Scout selection succesful! New missions have unlocked!]
"Hm?"
Lucas didn't expect such a reaction from the system and John knew by the 'Hm?' that sothing was wrong.
He didn't ask as he knew that Lucas was going to speak anyway.
"Uncle John… what is up with these new missions? Where are they."
"What?" John surprised by the inquiry opened the hologram containing all the guidelines.
"There is a mission tab showing here now Lucas…" John said while thinking aloud.
He seed to move his fingers around a lot on the hologram that looked like he was an addict moving his fingers around as if seeing sothing that wasn't really there.
"All these missions are that of a scout too… completing them has a reward."
"What is the reward?"
"Gold coins…"
"THE HELL?" Lucas couldn't help but smile ear to ear. Gold coins for doing missions?
"I can also see the missions, they are all for the role of the scout. And they are not tough at all…" Bill said while looking at the missions.
Lucas looked at the missions thoroughly. There were four of them, each for a minimum to high amount of gold coins.
[ Scouting missions:
Venture outside the territory- 1 Gold coin
Find the most dangerous monster inside the territory- 3 Gold Coins
Locate valuable resources outside the territory and mark them on the map- 5 Gold coins
Infiltrate a territory and gain valuable information- 10 Gold coins]
"So of them are very easy, there is an option to mark on the map too. And most importantly, you should know that the territory is bigger than you would think. It has a lot of space so it is not as easy as we think."
"That's not a problem, with Haley's new dried food that can last for days without the cold storage. I can leave for many days." Bill assured yet his assurance still ca as a concern for the others. Enjoy new adventures from My Virtual Library Empire
"You can't leave for days, it will be dangerous," Haley said in concern yet Bill just shrugged his shoulders.
"I am different from you all, if I don't want to be seen, no monster can sense my presence. And I can now move in my shadows for a long ti without coming out."
'Fuck… that is too great of a skill.'
Lucas envied Bill, his skills were good for hiding. Lucas didn't like hiding now that he was proud of his fighting yet still, he would like his chance if he could escape in the shadows and no one would be able to follow.
"Alright, those developnts are nice, you can leave whenever you want Bill. Thank you for attending this eting."
"So I can leave right now?"
"Yeah" Lucas said with a smile ignoring the fact that he asked a question about what he had just said.
Bill nodded in return and fell inside the darkness under him as if there was a deep puddle and he just fell inside it completely.
"Is it only or he has beco weird?" Jerry asked.
"He is weird, and I haven't seen him a lot during this whole month. Where was he all this ti, Mike?" Sean asked while moving his body back and forth.
"How the hell would I know? I was with you all most of the ti."
"Don't worry about him, he is okay. We have to complete this eting, people, stay focused."
Everybody looked at Lucas while thinking that he wasn't telling them sothing, sothing that would make their boring lives have so fun gossip again.
Lucas deprived them of this privilege and many didn't like it, especially Sean.
His craving for gossip was more than the most feminine female.
"Alright, Sandra, please learn the skill right now so that I can give you the role."
"No problem." Sandra took her sister to the side.
Lucas knew Haley was the one with the skill while the other one was with Mike.
Lucas looked at Mike as if asking what he wanted to beco.
"I suppose you will tell what the many roles are before I choose?"
"No, but I will tell you where to find them. Read and tell what you need before the end of this eting."
"Lucas, we don't need to push them into rash decisions. Can you give us so ti first?" John interjected.
"You need ti too?" Lucas knew he was being rash but he wanted to be done with it as soon as possible.
"Especially , I know what roles you are thinking of offering and at the end of the day, I am the only person except you who will know what to do in them."
Lucas's eyes flashed with understanding as he nodded in response.
"This eting was not a waste, we got two people who know what role they would like and one who has already taken it and gone... sowhere. Anyways, read everything about the roles and tell as soon as possible."
Everyone went on with the role-finding already and this was the ti Lucas had the inkling to start so fire in their hearts.
"You all know that the roles are limited. It isn't likely that what role you want is the one you will get. It's a first co basis, so be as fast as possible."
"Alright"
"Got it, leader."
"This is annoying."
Lucas talked with them for a few more minutes when he got a 'Ding' sound in his mind.
He did not know why but he knew exactly where it ca from and he opened that hologram straight away.
"Already completed?"
